Jungkook was overwhelmed with emotions... Even though he had so many insecurities about being a parent... Being called 'Papa' by Beomgyu filled him with a satisfaction and it's a much more intense satisfaction that comes from achieving something "normal"... There have been various moments in Jungkook's life where he felt content...
Like, when he topped in his entrance exam and his father said 'I am proud of you' was the best moment of his at that time... Second time was when he recieved his first paycheck and brought gifts for his parents and friends... Third time was when he performed complete surgery without any help of senior (Reference from book 1)... Forth time was when Yoongi said 'I love you' to him but tbh nothing in this world can compare to the feeling of being called as 'papa'...
Tears fell from his eyes as he picked Beomgyu in his arms and caged the boy in a bear hug... "Oh my god... I love you so much" Beomgyu giggled and wrapped his arms around Jungkook's neck "I wuv chu too Papa" Jungkook pulled head away to look at Beomgyu's cute face "call me papa again"

They were so caught up in the moment that they completely forgot about two figures standing their with judgemental look written all over their faces... "I can already sense favourites here...Please tell me you will be my side" Yoongi asked Hyejin with a pout and the girl chuckled cutely -

"For how long you two have been hiding it?" Y/n's voice roared startling everyone in the living room... Mr. Min and Hoseok looked at Y/n with wide eyes... She/he looked like a wild animal who has caught her/his prey... "Y/n wha-" the said person stopped Mr. Min in the middle of his sentence "Just. Tell. Me. From. How. Long. You. Two. Have. Been. Hiding. It" authority in his/her voice was dripping like a venom...
"2 months" Hobi said while lowering his head under Y/n's strong gaze... "Y/n? Baby what's wrong?" Mrs. Min asked and now all of them were gathered around three of them... "Ask your husband and Dr. Jung Hoseok... Tell them you two" both the said men felt terrible and guilty because of how Y/n referred them... But there is no meaning of hiding it all... Especially when cat is out of the bag...
"The thing is I am dying" Mr. Min said keeping his gaze stuck to the ground looking at the colorful balloons like they are the the most beautiful thing in the world... He heard loud gasps from everyone... "Wow... That's one way to say it" Y/n said in a mocking tone but in reality she/he is trying not to breakdown at the sudden news... She/he has always seen Mr. Min as her/his dad even though she/he calls him Uncle... Y/n doesn't even remember the face of her/his real father as she/he was way too young when her/his parents died in a car crash... Since from then it's always been Yoongi's parents she/he had to rely on...
"Jagi~ please tell me it's a lie" Mrs. Min sobbed loudly while holding onto her husband who stood silently with no answer... "Dr. Jung Hoseok would you mind to tell us what is wrong with Mr. Min?" Y/n asked with no softness in her/his voice... as if she/he is using her/his power of being head of diagnostic department... "I don't know"
Y/n went close to Hoseok and pulled him by his collar "WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY YOU DON'T KNOW... YOU TWO HAVE BEEN HIDING HIS ILLNESS FROM EVERYONE AND WE ACCIDENTALLY FOUND OUT YOUR ANSWER IS YOU DON'T KNOW?" Y/n shouted while Namjoon and Taehyung were trying to pull her/him away from Hoseok...
Namjoon looked at his best friend and asked "What you mean by you don't know Hoseok? You are one of the best diagnostician... what are his symptoms? When did it started? And if we don't have much time then why did you hid from us... Especially from Yoongi Hyung?" His voice full of disappointment... How can his best friend hide such an important thing from everyone...
"Please don't target him... It's all my fault... He wanted to tell everyone as soon as he found out but I was the one who stopped him from doing so" Mr. Min said while holding is crying wife in his arms... Y/n let go of Hoseok and turned towards Mr. Min and that's when she/he let of the tears she/he have been holding since she/he found out... "Why?"
"Because there is no point... Nobody knows what is wrong with me... Hoseok being one of the finest diagnostician can't figure out what's wrong with me then who can do that?" Mr. Min took a deep and shaky breath and signed visibly... "As for his symptoms... They were small first like cough, fever and confusion... but later I noticed that he was having trouble with his memory which he excused with an old age... but I knew something was wrong... He didn't allow me to tell anyone... I also figured it out accidentally... But soon things started getting rough with severe headache, high fever and he can't even keep his fluids down" Hoseok said between his broken sobs and none of them could believe their ears...
"So, is it meningitis or pneumonia?" Y/n asked while raising her/his brow to which Hoseok shook his head "No... I wish it was any of those but it's worst... Breathing trouble and organ dysfunction" before anyone could say anything Seo-joon and Seonho said in unison
"He is in Sepsis"

Hoseok just nods... And y/n fell on the ground holding her/his head... "I can't believe this... You two hid this big information from us and didn't even bother tell anyone of us? What do you think of yourself huh? Do you think Sepsis is a joke? Uncle how can you be so irresponsible and think you can go without any proper treatment? HOW CAN YOU" Mr. Min said nothing because there are no words that can make Y/n or anyone feel better... "Yoongles have to know about this right now"
