Chapter 16 - Smile and Sobs

It was three in the morning when Yoongi came back home... He was exhausted... had bags under his eyes and too tired to even move but gathering all the courage he silently made his way towards his and Jungkook's bedroom... On his way, he patted Holly and really wanted to check on the kids but also didn't want to wake them up... "I will wait till the sunrise" he thought and finally he opened the door to see the sight he admires a lot...

"Aish this man... he is just sleeping and my heart is going crazy like I am looking at my highschool crush..." Yoongi thought and his lips curved upwards to form an adorable smile... he took slow steps towards the bed... He crouched down to observe his husband's beautiful face... he brushed the band away from younger's eyes... he kissed the side of Jungkook's head and whispered "I love you so much Bun and Papa of my kids" Yoongi stood up and was about to walk away but a loose grip on his shirt stopped him...

"They are mine as well... and I love you too Mr. Min" Yoongi chuckled and kissed Jungkook's forehead... "Do you want to eat something? Because I haven't eaten since yesterday noon" after listening to this Jungkook was wide awake "Why didn't you eat anything in the canteen? How many times do I have to remind you that food, water, and rest our basic need of human bo-mmfh"

Yoongi shuts him up with a kiss, which surprised the younger male... even after 3.5 years of marriage, countless kisses, makeouts and love making... he still gets flustered whenever Yoongi kisses him out of the blue... Tbh, sometimes Jungkook does it on purpose... he knows very well that whenever he starts lecturing or freaks out... Yoongi always captures his lips to stop his loquaciousness...

"I don't like eating food alone, you know that, right?" Jungkook nodded with a little frowny pout... as he played with the hem of Yoongi's shirt "I know... but still starving yourself is not good for your health my dear husband" he whined and Yoongi shook his head... "I am gonna change and make something for us to eat... in the meantime... you can go back to sleep" after sharing one last kiss Yoongi walked into their bathroom and Jungkook closed his eyes just like he did when the door opened... Yoongi wasn't the only one who was awake the whole night...

Jungkook sighed deeply and looked at the closed door of the bathroom... "How will he handle this news?"

After an hour Yoongi came into their bedroom with a plate full of Gilgeori toast...

Jungkook smiled and peaked Yoongi's right cheek before mumbling a small 'thank you'... Both of them started eating in peaceful silence... (A/n: I am a sucker for domestic moments but-)

Remembering their conversation last night Jungkook swallowed the last piece of the toast and asked "Yoongs... You wanted to talk about something?" The said person nodded his head as his mouth was full... His cheeks were puffed and Jungkook tried his best to surpass the urge of biting Yoongi's cheeks... Call him weird but he loves Yoongi's puffy cheeks... "Stop staring you creep"

Yoongi playfully glared at Jungkook who pouted with cheeks red in embarassment... Yoongi cleared his throat and Jungkook met his eyes while drinking water "last night... Eunwoo confessed his feelings for me-" but before he could complete Jungkook choked on the water... "WHAT THE-" Yoongi covered Jungkook's mouth with his hand "shush... Kids are still sleeping and please hear me out before freaking out" Jungkook narrowed his eyes before give a small nod...

"So, he confessed and I clearly declined saying that he should know how much I love my husband and his job should be his first priority but when I asked him about the note he said he wasn't the one who sent a note to you" Jungkook rolled his eyes "like he will ever say 'Yes, Dr. Min it was me and I am sorry for that'..." Yoongi shook his head "I know you don't trust him Bun... But trust me when I say that he wasn't lying and there was honesty in his eyes... The only thing I am concerned about is if not Eunwoo then who?"

Jungkook frowned knowing not only Eunwoo but there is someone else who wants to steal Yoongi from him... But he is not insecure anymore... He knows very well that insecurities ruin relationship... And he can't afford losing Yoongi and his kids... he will do anything to protect his family... Even if it means sacrificing himself... But still-

Yoongi and Jungkook along with the twins were at the Min Mansion... Kids were playing in the garden with Seonho and Seo-joon and adults were sitting in the living room... Yoongi could tell something was off because Y/n and Namjoon weren't being as cheerful as they usually are... Instead there are bags under their eyes... Y/n is quite which is not a good sign...

Mr. Min cleared his throat "Yoongi...there is something I want to tell you baby and I hope you will understand...and forgive your old man" Yoongi don't know what he agreeing for but he still nodded his head... Mr. Min explained everything about his illness and how there is no cure that could save him... By the time he was finished Yoongi was sobbing hard and others were crying too...

"Is there no way to save you?" Yoongi asked between his broken sobs and Mr. Min gave him a sad smile... And hugged Yoongi "No baby... Don't you think if there was a way to save me... Y/n and Joon would have said something? They clearly spent entire night looking for the solution but my best diagnosticians can't figure it out... That means there is no way" before anyone could say anything Y/n stood up "You are still going to get admitted Old man... because I am not going to give up until I find a cure..." Mr. Min nodded and Pulled Y/n into hug too... But what they don't know is that... All this... Is just the beginning of the pain... Because a maid came running into the Mansion and said-

"Sir, Kids are no where to be found"
