Ditch Day

It was movie night for Skyler, Lydia and Jackson. Lyds and sky promised they'd make more time with each other so whenever they did anything they invited each over. Well, except for anything werwolf related. But Lydia took that promise super seriously and made sky tag along to all of her dates with Jackson.

The three pulled up to the video store in Lydias car
"The Hoosiers is not only the best basketball movie ever, it is the best sports movie ever made" jackson went on trying to convince them to watch his stupid movie suggestion
"No" sky said from the backseat with folded arms
"It's got Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper"
"No" Lydia said agreeing with her best friend
"Guys I swear to god, ur gonna like it"
"No" the two girls said in unison
"I am kit watching The Notebook again." Jackson said starting to get angry. The two girls just gave him a look and before he knew it, he and Skyler were in the video store searching for The Notebook. They walked down the halls hearing the stores phone ringing but no one was answering it.
"Can somebody help us find the notebook?" Jackson called out but there was no answer.
"Hello?" Skyler called out but there was still no answer. The two started to get annoyed
"Is anybody working here?" Jackson asked but there was still no answer. The two started walking around and looking to see if there was anybody there. Jackson stopped and groaned
"You've gotta be kidding me"
"Let's just look around maybe they're in the back or something" sky said to him. The two kept walking down one of the main halls, jackson slightly ahead of Sky when Jackson stopped abruptly, putting his arm out in front of Skyler
"What" she asked before seeing what he was seeing. Then a large gasp came out of her mouth and jackson out his hand over her mouth, shushing her.
A few iles in front of them they saw two feet. Skyler was scared that she knew that whoever that was wasn't alive. Jackson told her to stay where she was as he walked closer to get a better look. He walked foreword slowly and saw what Skyler was afraid he'd see. He saw a man covered with blood, most definitely not alive anymore. He stopped in his place, with fear on his face, which was all sky needed to see to know what it was. A tear rolled down her cheek as her hand covered her mouth. Her other hand going for her phone in her pocket, not to call 911, but to call her brother but before she could jackson stepped back from the body in fear, tripping on a ladder behind him. When the ladder fell a light in the ceiling fell as well, making the light start to flicker on and off in the whole room, as if they weren't scared enough.  Jackson stood up off the floor quickly before hearing a growl behind him. He turned around to see sky with a fearful look on her face and tears falling down her checks with an animal of some sort a few isles behind her. She didn't see it, but she heard it, and she just froze dropping the phone in her hand
"Skyler!" Jackson screamed running to her and grabbing her, then taking her to hide in one of the isles from the animal. They crouched down, Skyler leaning against Jackson holding onto his arm. Jackson's other arm draped over her with his hand over her mouth. Jackson slowly leaned into the isle to ses of what he saw was still there. Skyler silently sending him signals that she did not agree. When he peaked out he saw nothing at first. Skyler decided to look too, leaning her head out to peak down the isles. Then the two of them saw a big black shadow run across the room a few isles down. They both quickly moved back to their spot with a gasp. Movies started to fall on the shelves around the store. Jackson took another look into the isle, moving back quickly as he heard the isles falling like dominos. He grabbed Skyler throwing her into the isle. He tried to jump out of the way but the isle fell onto his legs. Skyler quickly got up trying to lift the isle up and then when that failed, trying to pull jackson out but she wasn't strong enough.
"Skyler run!" Jackson screamed as a big animal walked over to her. Jackson couldn't see it, he couldn't move, but she could. It stood right in front of her. She knew it had to be the alpha. She started to back up slowly but the backing up quickly turned into a run, but she was no match for the alpha. The wolf grabbed her by the ankle making her fall to the ground, and hit her head. She was out cold. The alpha left her there and went to stand over jackson. He lifted up the back of his jacket by his neck to see claw marks. Jackson was petrified. When the alpha saw the marks he letting jackson and Skyler be.  Instead of taking the door the alpha bursted through the window. Jackson couldn't see it, but he heard Lydia scream as it ran off.
The next thing Skyler remembered was waking up to the sirens. Jackson was crouched down over her trying to wake her up. He helped her stand and walked her outside.
Skyler and Lydia sat together in the ambulance wrapped up in blankets, talking to à deputy, Jackson was right there with them when she heard another cop car pull up, the sherif.
The sherif pulled up with his son stiles in the car
"Stay here" he said getting out of the car
"But skylers over there dad" he complained but his father didn't listed. The sherif walked over to the three teenagers to hear Jackson complaining
"Why the hell can't I just go home"
"I hear y'a but the emt says u hit ur head pretty hard . They just wanna make sure u don't have a concussion." Jackson started to get more angry by the moment
"What part of Im fine are u having a problem grasping? Okay! U wanna go home!" Jackson continued arguing with the sheriff when sky took a look around her. Before the sherif came over she hadn't said a work. She just started off into space. She felt a little more comforted when the sherif came over since she knew him so long. She felt even better when she saw stiles in the front seat of the sheriffs car. She jogged over with her blanket wrapped around her still as stiles slowly stepped out of the car. Then he stopped and pointed to the emt's rolling out someone with a tarp over him
"Wo is that a dead body!" He yelled out catching everyone's attention. His dad gave him a stare do he backed away a bit and grabbed Skylers arm to take her with him. "What happened"
"I...uh...I don't remember" that was a complete lie. She remembered every detail. He kept going on trying to convince her to fess up knowing she was lying to him but she didn't budge.
Little did all the people in front of the video store know that Derek and Scott were standing in the roof top watching everyone and listening.
"Starting to get it" Derek asked scott
"I get that he's killing people but I don't get why I mean this isn't standard practice right? We don't go out in the middle of the night murdering people do we?"
"No. We're predators. We don't have to be killers."
"Then why is he a killer?"
"That's what we're gonna have to find out." Derek said as he started to talk away and Scott quickly followed.
