Down We Go

Scott and Malia stood at the Beacon Hills Preserve, looking over the town as Scott's eyes glowed their dark red color and he let out a loud rawr. After a long moment, he stoooed and sighed as he turned back to Malia
"There's no scent. No tracks. No way to find him. It's just like Skyler" he told her
"But they're in the same place, right, Liam can howl back?" Malia asked
"Only if he heard me..." Scott sighed before looking over the town again.

Skyler laid on the ground in the middle of the woods in the middle of the night. She opened her eyes wide, then glowing their blood red color as she heard Scott's howl. She turned her head, looking around her at all the trees. She lifted her arm, reaching up and grabbing a branch not too far above her head, pulling herself up as she groaned loudly. She managed to get herself up onto her feet as she looked around her. She didn't know where she was. All she could see were trees.

Skyler sighed as she attempted to take a step forward before groaning loudly as she cringed in pain, stopping abruptly as she continued to hold onto the branch. She sighed, turning her head and looking around her before looking down at the branch. She looked at the pointy end facing her body and cringed as she thought of an idea.

Skyler cringed as she slowly got down into her knees, facing the pointy branch. She moved her hand close to the pointy end, resting it on the sharp part. She let out a quick breath before shoving her hand into it making her groan as blood began to drip from her hand down her arm and into the grass and leaves on the ground.

Not too far into the woods stood derek as he searched high and low in the woods for her when he rose his head, smelling blood. He turned around quickly, facing where the smell was coming from before hurrying away.

Scott walked closer to Malia as the two looked around, waiting for a howl back when they both looked in the same direction at the same time. The two looked at one another with furrowed brows
"U smell that?" Malia asked
"Blood" Scott nodded.

Skyler groaned as she laid on the ground against the tree, her eyes beginning to get heavy. She rested her head on the tree as her eyes opened and closed slowly before finally closing all the way.

Derek sprinted through the woods towards the scent. He ran until he saw Skyler laying on the ground, blood on her hand and the tree branch above her.
"Sky" Derek whispered before he began sprinting to her again. Derek was to her quickly, dropping down besides her and lifting her up, pulling her up and leaning her back against his chest. He held out his left hand, his claws extending before he created a cut along his wrist. "Ok" he whispered "sky. U need to drink this, ok?" He whispered as he put his wrist to her mouth "come on. Sky. Drink" he whispered as sky stayed still. Derek groaned, panicked as he used his other hand to open her mouth, letting some of his blood drip into her mouth. Skylers eyes opened slightly, their deep red color shining as Derek put his wrist to her mouth "drink my blood, sky" he whispered. Skyler felt Derek's blood go into her mouth, her strength starting to come back. She rose up her hand and grabbed his wrist and Derek sighed "ur ok" he whispered as he rested his cheek on her head "ur ok" he told her when Scott and Malia sprinted over, stopping when they saw them, their eyes widening
"Skyler!" Scott called out as he hurried over, dropping down besides her. Skyler opened her eyes all the way, letting go of Derek and sitting up as Scott pulled her into a tight hug "ur ok" he whispered with a sigh of relief "ur ok" he chuckled happily before his face dropped as he remembered "wait. Where r they?" He asked
"Who?" Skyler asked
"Liam and Hayden. Where r they?" Scott asked. Skyler furrowed her brows
"What do mean, where r they?" She asked and Scott turned away worriedly "Scott? What happened to Liam? And who the hell is Hayden?" Skyler asked worriedly. Scott turned and he and Malia shared a worried expression.

The loft door opened and Derek walked in, holding skyler in his arms as she laid her head against his chest with her eyes closed. Derek walked over to his bed, laying skyler down, resting her against the head board. He lifted up his hands and brushed her hair out of her face as she opened her eyes
"I'm rly happy ur ok" he whispered "I was going crazy looking for u" he told her. Skyler smiled weakly
"I'm happy ur here" she whispered back
"I never should have left" he told her "and u should have told me they wanted u" he told her and Skyler sighed
"I didn't wanna worry u" she told him quietly as she fiddled with her hands. Derek grabbed her hands, stopping her as he sighed
"U still should have told me. I don't care ab New York. Whatever's there can stay there. I care ab u" he told her sternly. Skyler sighed
"I'm sorry" she told him. Derek looked at her for a moment before sighing, leaning forward and kissing her on the forehead.
"What'd they do to u, sky?" Derek whispered worriedly. Skyler opened her mouth to answer before stopping abruptly. She furrowed her brows
"I uh..." she whispered. She sat up straighter as she thought "I don't remember" she answered. She looked at derek confused and worriedly
"They erased ur memory?" Derek asked. Skyler wore a confused expression
"They must have cause..I..." she started to panic "idk what happened. I can't remember the last couple days at all derek" she spoke worriedly
"Hey hey hey" derek spoke, putting his hands on her face making her look at him "it's ok" he told her "we'll figure it out. As long as u feel ok. That's all that matters right now. Do u feel ok?" He asked and Skyler nodded
"Yeah. I mean. I think I need a little more blood but..other than that, I feel fine" she told him.
"Ok." He nodded as he stood up "I'll have to go steal some more from the hospital. I'm all out here" he told her. Skyler nodded. She tried to stand up and groaned. Derek reached out and grabbed her quickly. "What r u doing?" He asked hurriedly. Skyler smiled at him
"Going to take a shower" she told him "I smell and I feel disgusting. So.." she patted on his chest "go get me some blood and I'll shower. We need to do this quick. The sooner I have my strength back, the sooner I can help the others find Liam and Hayden" she told him. Derek rolled his eyes before going to leave "so go" Skyler told him when Derek stopped abruptly and turned to face her
"I can't leave u here alone" he told her. "Not after everything. It's not safe" he told her
"Then she won't be alone" Sandra spoke as she walked through the door with a bag of clothes and food. Skyler smiled at her and sandra smiled back as she held up the bags "I got u some goods" she told her before walking over to her and pulling her into a tight hug "I'm so happy ur ok" she told her
"Thankyou and this means a lot but..it rly hurts" Skyler told her, her voice muffled in Sandra's hair
"Oh!" Sandra spoke as she backed away, the two girls chuckling "sorry" she told her
"It's ok" sky told her before looking at derek "I'll be ok. San will watch over me" she told him. Derek glanced at sandra wearily before nodding and turning, walking out of the loft. Once the door shut, sandra turned and looked at Skyler with her mouth opened wide
"He's cute" she told Skyler making sky chuckle
"I know" Skyler shrugged
"And he's older too" sandra added as she linked arms with sky and pulled her towards the table "what a scandal, skyler mccal" she teased and skyler chuckled
