Stiles, Scott, skyler and Lydia ran into the animal clinic as Scott carried Derek. Scott set him down on one of the tables as deaton guided him.
"Wow"deaton spoke, looking down at young Derek's face
"Wow? Wow as in "I've seen this before and I know exactly what to do" kind of wow?" Stiles asked "cause that's the kind of wow we were hoping for"
"I think u might be overestimating my abilities" deaton told him. Skyler looked down, holding Derek's hand
"He's cold. Really cold" she told them. Deaton felt Derek's hand, realizing she was right
"U think this is permanent?" Scott asked. Deaton turned on his mini flashlight, shining it into Derek's eyes
"I'm not sure a medical diagnosis is even adequate. This is well beyond my experience" Deaton spoke
"So what do we do with him?" Skyler asked
"Until he wakes up? Probably not much. It might be best if u leave him with me. Hell be safe here" deaton answered
"U mean from Kate" stiles corrected
"If she's alive and she is what u say she is she won't be able to walk passed that gate" deaton answered. Lydia watched as Skyler covered him up in the blanket he was wrapped in
"Why would she want to do this to him?" She asked
"Knowing kate, it's probably for a reason that won't be any good for anyone but her" deaton answered
"And bad for everyone else" stiles spoke. Deaton nodded
"U guys should probably go home. He doesn't look to be in any danger. So maybe the rest of u should get some sleep? It is a school night" he stated as he looked at their tired faces "and u all need to start taking care of ur own lives again."
"Someone should stay with u" Scott stated
"I'll stay." Skyler stated, not moving her eyes from his as she held his hand. "Despite missing a few classes, my grades are fine" she told them.
"I'm so not ok with this" stiles stated
"Guys, go" Skyler told them
"No" stiles answered. Skyler sighed annoyed at him as she looked at Scott
"Text us if anything happens" Scott told her. Skyler nodded
"Nope. Still not ok with it" stiles stated as Scott started to drag him out "not going anywhere...all right..just cause ur stronger" stiles complained as Scott dragged him away. Lydia came over to skyler worriedly
"It's ok lydia. Im fine" Skyler told her
"Its just" lydia sighed "when he wakes up...there's a good chance he won't remember u. Are u prepared for that?" She whispered. Skyler looked down at derek sadly as she squeezed his hand
"I'll be fine" she stated. Lydia sighed
"Are u sure u don't want"
"Lydia" skyler interrupted, giving her an annoyed look "go home" she told her. Lydia sighed, placing her hand on hers, squeezing i reassuringly before leaving the animal clinic with Scott and stiles.

Scott walked into the house, seeing pots on the ground, catching drops that fell from the ceiling. He walked through the house, seeing his dad sleeping on the couch, distracting him as he kicked a box of tools, making a loud noise that woke mr mccal up. He sat up on the couch
"Scott? Skyler?" He asked sleepily with his eyes barely open
"Hey dad" Scott whispered awkwardly "what with the tools?" He asked. Mr mccall stood up and started walking over
"Oh, I was just uh.." he sighed "getting started on a list of repairs u guys need done" he answered "what time is it?"
"Um..it's uh..." Scott turned the clock around "mid night" he lied
"We were supposed to have dinner. U me and ur sister. We had a deal. When ur mom has a night shift we have dinner."
"Sorry I totally forgot about it" Scott apologized "when we got back from the camping trip I had to go straight to the animal clinic to finish up work."
"All right, we'll..,tomorrow night. Dinner"
"Great"
"And ur sister? Where is she?"
"She uh..,she's staying at Lydia's" Scott lied. Mccall nodded
"Did u get anything to eat?"
"Yeah...Mexican" Scott sighed as he walked upstairs

Derek laid on the table in the animal clinic...dreaming-
Skyler and Derek stood dancing slowly in Derek's apartment. Skyler wearing her light blue dress and Derek wearing his Navi blue tux that she forced him to wear. Skyler had her head laying on Derek's shoulder, facing him as they moved to the rythm of the song.
"U know I love u right?" Skyler asked, raising her head and smiling softly. Derek smiled, twirling her around. He pulled her back in, wrapping his arm around her waist again as he smiled down at her
"And i love u" he whispered before kissing her forehead.
