Muted Motions

Skyler laid on her bed looking up at the ceiling. She turned her head at the sound of her alarm going off. She had been up all night, tossing and turning. She didn't know what was keeping her awake like this. Maybe it was because the other night she slept walked to dereks apartment. Thankfully she woke up before he saw her, so she had time to leave before he saw her. Maybe she was afraid she'd do it again. Maybe she was afraid to see him....to face him. She also couldn't shake the feeling of depression that had flooded her brain since the week before, when Derek broke her heart again. Scott knocked on skylers door making her lift her head up to see Scott coming inside, ready to leave early for lacrosse tryouts
"Hey" he smiled, awkwardly
"Hey" Skyler groaned, pretending she had just woken up. She even fake yawned
"U didn't sleep again?" Scott asked. He knew she wasn't sleeping. He also knew why. Skyler sighed
"How'd u know?"
"Because ur heart is beating fast...to fast for someone who just woke up" Scott answered worriedly. Skyler sighed, sitting up fully and putting her feet on the ground. Scott came over and sat down besides her "maybe this is a good thing" he told her, trying to look on the bright side. Skyler looked at him with an annoyed look "maybe this is a sign that it's time to move on. U tried and it didn't work" Scott paused, looking at his sisters sad face. He sighed "Derek doesn't want u...I know that it sucks but it's the truth. Maybe it's time to let him go" Scott told her as he rested his hand on hers. Skyler sighed before looking up at him and nodding before standing up off the bed
"Ur right. Time to move on" she stated. Scott looked at her with raised brows, now realizing that she was wearing Derek's leather jacket. Skyler looked down at it, realizing she was wearing it and took it off quickly, throwing it in her closet "moving on" she assured him before walking into the bathroom.

Skyler walked into the school, catching everyone's eyes as she walked through with her flower print dress and high heels. She curled her hair and really tried on her makeup for the first time in a long time and she felt good. It's was time to move on and she started off with a bang

"U think we should tell her?" Stiles asked "I mean she's been really sad lately.,.like really sad" he told Scott as they walked into the boys locker room after they saw a kid who they think might be a werwolf
"It's time for her to move on. Trust me,..she would love a distraction" Scott told him "and I already texted her" he smiled awkwardly and stiles sighed annoyed.

Skyler leaned against the locker besides Liam, the boy Scott and stiles think is a werwolf. Liam's face dropped as he saw her, starting to get nervous
"Hey liam" stiles spoke from behind him making Liam turn around "u wanna explain what that was out there?"
"What do u mean?" Liam asked
"That little display. That little circus act" stiles continued
"What circus act!" Liam asked
"U caught every shot."
"I was in goal"
"Yeah but nothing, not a single shot got past u"
"Yeah, I was the goalie" liam stated. He looked between the three of them "u guys played this game before?"
"Ur a freshman right?" Scott asked
"Yeah"
"But u weren't here last semester." Stiles stated
"I transferred from devenford prep" liam shrugged
"U transferred?" Scott asked, listening to his heartbeat
"Yeah."
"No u got kicked out didn't u?" Scott asked. Liam furrowed his brows for a moment before scoffing at them
"All right, kicked out or transferee. What do u guys care?" He asked them "I came here to play lacrosse. The term could use a few good players right?"
"No, no we don't need any more good players" stiles told him
"Actually we could sort of use a couple" Scott stated
"More like a lot" Skyler corrected and scot and stiles looked at her annoyed.
"Ok how'd u get this good?" Stiles asked "have u always been this good? Or did it suddenly just happen just once over night? Have u ever been out in the middle of the woods during the night of the full"
"Stiles" Scott interrupted him
"Look, I learned from my step father, all right?" Liam told them "he made team captain when he was a sophomore, like u" he looked at Scott. Scott smiled as Liam looked back at stiles "and yeah, I guess I'm just that good" he told him as he grabbed his stuff and walked away.
"We'll this was a complete waste of time" Skyler stated. She put her hands on the two Boyss shoulders "nice job boys" she stated sarcastically before walking out of the boys locker room.
