you had been using the agency's roof for shelter for the past two months, using a couch to sleep on. groceries weren't an issue because ranpo left quite a lot of food at the agency. surprisingly, he didn't mind if you had some of it.

the reason for all of this was because you were skeptical of going back to your apartment. even though it was akutagawa who left you, who knows what mori was told. he could easily have someone hired to assassinate you there.

this morning, everyone got into the building in a timely manner granted it was for work. yosano came over to you and told you that even though they don't mind you sleeping on the couch, you should really have your own place.

" but most of our rooms are full? who is y/n going to stay with?" a curious kenji asked. just as everyone was thinking of a solution, a certain someone had an idea.

" not all of our rooms are full. they can stay with me actually." dazai said as he nudged you. you crossed your fingers hoping a different option would pop up. you really didn't want to stay with dazai especially because of your opinion on him.

" i mean kunikida also has room but i don't think y/n wants to stay with him." the man beside you tried to say in an attempt to get you into his home instead. you looked up at kunikida with a pleading expression, he knew how weird dazai could get. maybe he would help you out?

" i guess i wouldn't mind if y/n stayed with me. it's better than them living with that suicidal maniac after all." kunikida said looking away from your face. you chuckled quietly and turned to dazai to tell him your decision.

" yeah thanks dazai but i think im good. im leaning towards kunikida to be honest." you said scratching your head. " i still need my belongings though guys. how am i going to get those?"

"oh i know! me and naomi will be the ones to go. don't worry though y/n. if i get in a pickle ill just use my ability!" tanizaki raised his hand to volunteer.

and you saw no other choice to let him go with his sister.
