He shouldve have known she was going to do something just as reckless, he should've have.
She was someone who couldn't stay still nor stand there and do nothing and when Bucky was ambushed and attacked, he should've know she was there.
She heard everything. The yelling. The warning. And all she knew she had to do what save him. And when she arrived by his side, hip by hip, a gun to her hand and one to his own, the sound of the gunfire was the first thing that he processed before she jumped.
He expected to feel pain, to feel blood rushing out of whatever body part he got shot at but when he didn't and found her on the floor, everything else was a blur.
Bucky rushed to her side within the instant, right after taking down the rest of the agents. He finds her heaving in his arms, while terrified, she seemed alright.
"You alright, petal?" He assessed her face and her suit, looking for any sight of a bullet entrance or a cut of any sort but when there was nothing and she smiled with her thumbs up, he sighed.
