Madelyn grabbed a small bag and picked up all her belongings, which consisted of a couple shirts, another pair of pants, and her fathers watch.

She looked at the watch and smiled, she held the watch to her chest, near her heart. She was going to see her father once again.

She looked over and picked up her pillow, inside the pillowcase she reached down to grab what she had kept hidden. It was two pictures. One with her father that she absolutely cherished.

She found it hilarious because Alice had been in the background at the tea table with a Cheshire cat.

The other one contained her and Ben. The both of them were wearing the biggest smiles they could possibly have. They had just came back from Arendelle, both of them visiting Queen Anna and Elsa. She remembered Ben being absolutely terrified of the water spirit.

She smiled at her memories before putting them inside of the bag, she glanced around the shack and shook her head. She was done with this place, she was going back home. To her cottage.

To her father.

To Ben.

To Alice.

To Auradon.

She headed outside and to the bridge that allowed them to leave. The only exit and entrance to the isle, other than the port.

As she arrived she found a limo and the villains saying goodbye to their children. She looked at each parent and knew they were full of themselves.

She walked to the limo and felt a tap on her back as she was putting her bag in the trunk. She would admit that she was surprised when she saw Sarah Sanderson.

She raised an eyebrow at the woman while said woman looked around very worried. She was holding something behind her hands.

"I'm sorry about your mother, I think you look like her very much as well, although you might have your fathers hair too. Anyways, here." She spoke frantically. She handed me the one possession Winnifred Sanderson loved more than anything.

Her Spell Book.

"I can't make up to you how awful we all were to you but take this, it will help protect you and help your powers. Just hurry and go, before my sister finds out it's gone. And please, I beg of You Madelyn Winona "Hatter" Hightop Sanderson, never come back to the isle. " Sarah spoke seriously at the end.

Although she did suck the lives out of children, the moment she found out she had a niece her heart started to grow. She loved the idea of teaching a little one magic, having someone to guide like their mother did, but none of that happened because Winnifred sent the child away.

Sarah smiled small at the stunned girl Infront of her. She didn't give her a chance to reply because she could hear her sister yelling for her book.

Maddie was pushed towards the car and was practically shoved inside with the book being shoved in her bag by her Aunt.

The car started and everybody was occupied by what was inside the car but Madelyn looked out the back window to find Winnifred running towards the car but being stopped by the barrier. Her mouth was moving a mile a minute. She knew some profanities were being yelled.

She watched as her mother turned back to her sister and smacked her across the face. She saw her aunt fall to the floor but looked at the moving car that was racing away from the Isle.

A single tear running down both Sarah and Madelyn's face. Sarah because she was content that her niece would get a better life and Madelyn for now knowing she had another family member that actually cared for her.

Madelyn wiped the tear away when she saw Carlos look her way. He was stuffing his face with some kind of treat.

He gave a sympathetic face and offered the brown thing he had bitten to her.

She looked down at the treat, looked back to him and gave him a small smile but shook her head.

He shrugged his shoulders and stuffed it into his mouth. Maddie's smile grew just a little bit more at the action. She quite liked the kid.

They were interrupted by Evie screaming. Madelyn looked towards the front of the car and saw the bridge still wasn't up.

Maddie's eyes grew but tried to think happy thoughts that she wasn't about to die. Everybody else was screaming their heads off.

She saw the bridge begin to magically appear and smiled. She absolutely loved magic.

Mal was speaking to the guy before he ignored her, she was talking to all of them but Madelyn wasn't listening. She had often found that she would always tune out the fairies.

She was looking down at her hands. She scrunched her fist and then opened it. Electricity moved around her fingers and she smiled.

She could feel someone looking at her and turned her head to find Carlos. He looked at her hand amazed, mouth open, the man was absolutely stunned.

Maddie closed her hands again and looked at Carlos with a smirk. She raised a finger to her mouth, a signal to keep it a secret.

She didn't want everybody to know the extent of her magic.

Carlos merely nodded, his face still the same. It made Maddie giggle just a little. She found his facial expressions funny. He smiled after hearing it, her giggle reminded him of a bubbly feeling, a sense of actual joy.

Mal's attention was brought to the two, Carlos blushing a bit while Maddie's shoulders were shaking just a little from laughing. Both of them with smiles on their faces. She narrowed her eyes at the girl, she didn't like her and absolutely loathed how she got along with people so easily, not her but everybody else.

Maddie felt her stare and looked at the girl. She had a face of indifference. She knew the girl didn't like her. She had stood up to Mal multiple times and never let Mal think she was the best of the best. She made sure to put the fairy in training in place.

The Hatter rolled her eyes and looked back to the sea and saw the surrounding woods. She smiled to herself. She wouldn't let Mal ruin this for her.

She wasn't going to let anything rain on her parade.

She was going home right now.

Nothing was gonna kill her mood.
