Her mood was officially killed.

The entire time Carlos and Jay have been arguing, fighting, really just getting on her nerves.

Evie kept trying to put makeup on Mal which was just making Mal cranky.

Maddie tried to tune all of them out but nothing was working. She then diverted her attention towards the book in the trunk and her aunt.

She never believed there was any good in any of the Sanderson sisters but Sarah had proven her wrong. Her aunt had done something out of the kindness of her heart and Maddie believed that not everyone on the isle was truly wicked. Of course there were people like her mother and maleficent but the other people who were thrown there because of what their families did.

Maddies thoughts wandered to reasons why she was thrown on the isle. She hadn't done anything wrong when she was younger, she hadn't hurt anybody. Or gone mad like her father. She never used her magic. She didn't understand why anything happened. Not even her father had gone mad, he was going on months now. She was so proud of him, he had no slip ups or anything. She remembers going into town and getting her father new fabric with Alice because of his accomplishment.

She thought of her father, where was he? Was he alright? Was he still making hats? Or having tea time? Did he communicate to Alice at least?

Alice. She missed her just as much as her father. Alice was her best friend, her mother in a way.

Although Alice wasn't a part of any of it, she wondered what happened to her. Was she still at home?

Home. What Maddie would do to sit in her home with her father. Her and her father sitting on the couch while he read her stories. Going outside to the garden to have tea time. Alice coming over with cakes to celebrate with them. Ben, popping up out of nowhere and joining them, the two running off to play in the forest after they were done.

Ben. SHe smiled at the thought of him. She was completely sure she was going to see him. She didn't know about her father and Alice first but she knew she would see Ben, at least him first.

She was cut out of her thoughts when she heard the sound of music coming from outside, she glanced out the window and saw the infamous sign of the school.

any better

She continued looking out the window at all the people waving at the limo, people holding signs. BUt more importantly their outfits, she missed the bright colors, especially in clothes. Her father always told her it was a form of expressing herself, and she was always a bright ball of sunshine. So she dressed bright too, but on the isle you always had to wear dark clothes. You would stand out too much if you wore bright ones and that wasn't a good thing.

She hadn't noticed the car come to a stop nor did she see everyone get out of the car. Carlos was going to tap her shoulder but his attention got caught on a towel, Jay saw his attention and tried to take it from him. They wrestle around until eventually they fell out of the car. Mal and Evie both exited the car not even bothering Maddie, knowing she was always daydreaming and whatnot. Notf that they actually cared enough to tell her, Mal anyway.

She broke from her thoughts when things were thrown into the car. By then the driver closed the door. She saw no one in there with her and rolled her eyes, not like she expected anything else from them.

Maddie moved to the door but saw Jay standing in front of it. She rolled her eyes and contemplated opening it roughly so it would hurt but she decided against it.

Instead she moved to the other side and opened that door. SHe stepped out and noticed people standing on the stairs, staring at her. She gave them a small smile and waved just a little.

She felt a little shy, having all those people watching her, made her feel vulnerable.

She fully stepped out and closed the door.

You Would think the door would have caught everyone's attention but not Bens.

He had been looking for the red haired girl since the limo pulled up. Even squinting his eyes to see through the window. When the door closed and only the main villain kids stepped out, he thought she had rejected his offer and stayed on the Isle. He thought she was upset at him, even though he knew he did nothing wrong in the first place.

After his introduction and Aubreys, he was feeling a little dimmed but then he saw a spec of red hair from the other side of the limo.

He could have sworn his heart jumped, his attention on them alone.

Then he saw the entire head, the poofy curly head he remembered, and he started to smile. His pulse was racing, his heart loud. He was surprised no one could hear it.

Then when she turned around to close the door he wasted no time in stepping around the Vks and heading to her.

Aubrey watched him walk away, confused at first then jealous. She knew exactly who it was, anybody would by the red hair.

"Maddie?" Ben spoke, his voice showing traces of excitement.

Maddie spun around to see who it was, a bright smile spreading on her face when she knew who it was. He may have been older now but she knew exactly who it was.

"Ben!" She squealed as she rushed towards him.

He let out a little grunt when her body crashed into him but he only smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist. He held her tightly.

He wasn't going to let go anytime soon and neither was she.

He felt like he was going to lose her again if he let her go.

She felt like all of this was a dream and she would wake up the moment she pulled away.

Aubrey was livid seeing her boyfriend wrapped in another girl's embrace, she marched towards them and cleared her throat. Thinking they would pull away completely.

They didn't.

Instead, they pulled away to arms length and just looked into eachothers eyes. If itf were like the stories their parents went through, you would have thought it was love at first sight.

But this wasn't their parents' stories. They weren't strangers who they just met. This love was the kind that has been built since they were children.

Ben smiled down at Maddie, while she returned it.

"You're here, you're actually and finally here." He whispered to her.

"I'm here Benny." She assured him, her hands playing with the hair on the back of his neck.

The sensation he was getting from her was spectacular. He didn't want to let her go. He couldn't.

She removed one of her hands from the back of his neck, which caused him to frown a little. He watched as she moved to her neck and pulled something out. It was a necklace, not just any random one, their friendship one.

It consisted of a silver chain with two charms.

A teacup and a crown.

Each one represents them.

Ben smiled, he had searched the cottage looking for the necklace to make sure it wasn't broken but never found it.

He moved his hand from her waist and reached for hers, both of them smiling.

"How?" He asked her.

"I found it in my things when I left. With a picture of you too." She whispered, never taking her eyes off of him.

He looked back up into her eyes, dropping her necklace so it hit her chest.

He moved his tie and shirt a little to reach under it. Pulled out the exact same necklace but on a gold chain.
