When I woke up the next morning I wanted to barf, it was Bella and I's first day at school in Forks. The first time we'd be socializing with people our age here in years. I stayed up late and woke up early, resulting in what can only be described as misery. I could hear Bella in the shower singing some repetitive pop song, and I prayed she'd be out soon because I needed to go in there and brush my teeth, I also needed to put ointment on my scar, do my makeup, and organize my accessories, and all in an hour. Thinking about my full plate, I threw caution to the wind and I knocked on the door, entering without care.

"Gia, I'm still in the shower. Get out!" Bella screeched, peeping her face from around the shower curtain.

"I need to get a ton of stuff done, Bells. My hair, makeup, medicine, and I haven't even planned my outfit yet." I fumed, splashing water on my face.

"Can you let me bathe in peace? Take your stuff and get ready in Charlie's bathroom."

"I don't know.. I kinda like annoying you," I giggled evilly. I opted to first brush my hair and grabbed a pink scrunchie.

"Whatever, what are you wearing to school?" She asked, turning off the shower.

I painfully groaned, "I have no idea! Probably nothing special, I don't really have time since I'm also gonna have to pack another bag so I can try out for cheer."

Bella stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around herself. "You should've done that last night and they have to let you on the team. You forget you're the whole package, pretty, talented, kind. You'll rock that audition, I promise." She twirled around, clutching her towel to her chest and waving her hand around pretending to be holding a magic wand.

"Way to ruin the moment Bells," I said, swatting at her arm.

"Gimme the hair brush Gia."

I waved my hands in her face, one holding the tube of ointment and the other holding my mascara wand. "Can't, my hands are full, and I'm busy becoming beautiful."

"Whatever," Bella said as she reached  over me to get the hairbrush and rolled her eyes. "Thanks."

I scrunched some mousse in my hair in the hopes my curls would appear super bouncy-- in case hot people appeared in Forks while me and Bella were absent. Then I put on one of my favorite headbands, and finished my makeup. In my room I put on a cute matching outfit, and obviously it looked good because the outfit was a budget version of Cher from clueless.

"Gia!! Come down here, hurry!" my sister called from downstairs, giving me a heart attack.

I sprinted down the stairs, almost falling flat on my face. I saw Bella smiling at me as she waved for me to come outside. Outside dad was handing a familiar looking man money as an even more familiar looking son emptied the bed of a red Chevrolet truck into a smaller black car.
