special chapter : happy halloween !

9:15 am.

“hey guys, i have something in mind.” sunghoon said, making everyone in the room groan.

“whatever that is, keep it in yourself.” said jungwon, rolling his eyes at him.

“c’mon! my idea is great, you know.”

“not all of them,” jay mumbled to himself. ni-ki heard it though so he chuckled and called his son.

heeseung called hem to gather in ni-ki’s house to plan what to do on halloween. and here they are, gathering in the living room to plan.

“dad? will we visit daddy again?” sol asked. ni-ki crouched and pinched his son’s cheeks.

“i’m starting to get jealous now. you love him more than me.” sol pouted at his dad’s remarks.

“not true. i love you both!” he said with a smile before hugging ni-ki. the latter smiled at sol before ruffling his hair and carry him.

they planned on what to do for the halloween. they all decided to have a halloween party at ni-ki’s house but before that, they will visit sunoo first.

‘i will be seeing you again, love.’

october 29, 20xx
3:15 pm., 2 days before the party.

jay and jungwon were at the supermarket right now, buying the ingredients they need for the party.

as jay is busy looking thoroughly at the products, jungwon roamed his eyes around and he froze he see something moved.

he blinked a few times before shaking his head.

‘it’s nothing. yeah it’s nothing.’ he thought. he just shrugged it off and glanced at his man.

“baby, you done─” jungwon didn’t finish his sentence when he saw jay’s state ─ hands stopped moving and trembling, mouth slightly open, eyes widening.

jungwon snapped his fingers in front of his face three times then jay flinched.

“baby, you okay?” he asked. jay looked at jungwon then back to the place then back to his boyfriend. jungwon eyebrow shot up.

“d-did you s-saw that?” jay asked him, stuttering. jungwon’s forehead creased.

jay then shut his eyes and shook his head before smiling at jungwon.

“nevermind. maybe i am just seeing things.”

weird. did jay also saw what he saw earlier?

october 30, 20xx
12:12 am., a day before the party.

the group decided to sleep in ni-ki’s house. jake is in the kitchen, drinking. he was alone.

while drinking, suddenly the lights starts to flicker. jake paused. his hands were now sweating and trembling. seconds after, the lights came back to normal.

he let out a sigh of relief. when jake turned his back, he let out a manly scream. his eyes were shut and still screaming his lungs out.

“jake hyung! are you alright?” ni-ki asked. jake stopped and slowly open his eyes.

the black shadow was gone now and only he could see is ni-ki.

october 31, 20xx
7:30 pm., the day of the party.

the party had started already. all of them were enjoying especially sol.

they were laughing, dancing, singing, eating, drinking (juice) and playing. all of them were having fun.

but ni-ki then noticed his son stopped. sol was looking at nowhere. ni-ki was confused so, he went to his son.

“sol? what’s wrong?” he asked him. sol looked at his father then back to the place he was looking.

“have you seen that, dad?” sol asked his father. ni-ki was even more confused. seen what?

“what son?”

sol only looked at him. ni-ki sighed before carrying his son with him and was about to go back when his son said something.

“he was looking at you, dad. he was smiling. he said that he’s been with us and he’s been scaring uncle jay and uncle jake.”

ni-ki chuckled. “i see. you love to scare them, love, huh.”
