My Soulmate

Chapter 2- Back in time

How is this possible? Maybe I am dreaming. I've heard people have weird dreams before dying….but why am I having such weird one?

''What's up Suji,you woke up late today.'' Sadat said looking at me,''when I'm sleeping a little more you and mom team up against me and scold me.''

Mom slapped Sadat's head lightly and said,''How many times have I told you not to call your elder sister by her name? And she is not sleeping like a pig everyday like you.Moreover, she is not too late. She can still reach college in time.''

''Mom! I am not gonna call her 'apu'(big sister) just because she is 1.5 years older than me.How many times have I said that?She doesn't even look like my elder sister.'' Sadat left the room saying that.
''You are not late. Sadat woke up early that's why he came to annoy you. Go fresh up and come to eat, food is getting cold.'' Mom also left saying that.

I slowly went towards the dressing table. I have really become younger. My mouth looks kinda round, my hair is also long. But I remember cutting them before entering University. I was looking around my room.
''Sujita! You'll be late!'' I came back to my senses hearing my mom calling me.

Even if I'm living six years back, nothing is unfamiliar to me. So,I am not facing many problems.I remember my way to college. Our home was in town so college was not too far. It took some time to find my class because I forgot my room number. I was entering the class when, ''Sujita! Let's sit here today.'' I was looking at her without blinking. Everything felt like a dream, it still does. But looking at her,for the first time I feel like I am really dead. Before the accident she is the one who told me to be careful on the road. Without my consent a drop of tear rolled from my eyes.
''Sujita! What happened to you?'' She asked worriedly.
"Nothing. I'm fine. what will happen to me?" I said with a small.
''I know You're lying. It's ok. I won't ask anything now but you have to tell me everything later.''

She understands me without me saying anything. I bet that everything changed in this six years but Rimti never changed. That's why even coming back in the past I can freely talk to her. Me and Rimti left the town and moved to Dhaka for University. Though we didn’t get admission to the same University, we stayed together renting the same apartment .We spent a great time in that small apartment.

''Why do you look so absent minded? What are you thinking so deeply,Sujita?''

How do I explain the situation to her?It’s not possible. I myself can't understand everything. But for now I have to look at the soulmate matter.
"Don't worry. It's nothing. I was just thinking when I will meet my soulmate or have I already met 'Him'?''
''Soulmate!?''
