2 years later
Nanon
My head hurts a lot been working overtime since we heard about the merging. All are on their toes since we need to prepare everything. 'Another freaking day....' I got up and start my usual routine. I need to be in the office early because we will present everything we have worked for to the other company's representatives. Dew has been heading the branch in Shanghai and I handle Changmai's office. We have been going out since last year after wooing me for a year. After a quick shower I heard my phone ringing. 'Always on time'
"Dew good morning what's up."
"Hello love how is your sleep?"
"Just good though I still feel tired."
"Love I have surprise for you."
"I told you stop sending me things rich boy."
"Love when will I ever hear a thank you from you. You don't even seem to like all the things that I give you."
"Told you that you are the one I need and not those things. I cannot hug those."
"Yeah I know love so this is why the surprise will be the best."
The doorbell rings... "Wait someone is at the door."
Once I open the door.
"Surprise love. I'm here."
I am surprised to see Dew in the flesh.
"Babe what are doing here. I thought you we will see each other next month."
"Love, I can't last another month without you."
"Damn so cheesy."
Dew hugged me tight and I'm happy seeing him. He cupped my face and kissed me. First it was slow but after a minute now it is getting way intense. We are near the kitchen counter and he lifted me up in the countertop. I pulled back and stopped Dew
"Babe, I will be late. Let us finish this later."
"Sure love but you owe me bigtime. See this." Showing his bulge building up below his belt.
"I will take care of you later babe. By the way why you came a long now."
"Well love I was called to the meeting as well seems the new boss wants to meet all the head of each branch."
"Okay babe freshen up then we go to the cafe near the office before we go to office."
While Dew is in the bathroom "Babe do you know who are we meeting today?"
"Well I have heard it is the boss of the other company himself."
"Babe I have arrange your clothes in the bed."
I was drinking coffee in the terrace when Dew hugged me from the back and kiss my neck. "Love you."
I just smiled like I always do. We have been going out for about a year now but I have not said those words yet.
"Let us go babe we might be late for the meeting."
We just arrived just in time for the meeting. We went straight to the meeting room. I sat down beside Dew and just nodded when he put the coffee he bought for me. The good thing about Dew is he always make sure I have what I need before he even thinks about himself. This is something I have been missing before.  'If only he can be half or even 1/10 of Dew's affection to me maybe just maybe...'
I shakee my head of 'erase erase that Nanon. Dew loves you stop thinking about whatifs.'
"Good morning gentlemen you don't have to stand. My name is Clive Norris I am the EOM of ON Technologies Ltd. I am here to discuss matters that will change since we finalized the merge to your company. There will be new assignments to some and some will retain where they are assigned. Some will be promoted as well. As you can see in the file being distributed now are including your assignments and new positions if promoted. Just let me know if you have questions."
I checked the paper and saw someone else name listed in Changmai branch and I am not seeing my name anywhere in the list of managers.
"Excuse me I cannot see my name in the list?"
"Mr. Kirdpan, your assigment is in the next page. Congratulations you will be reporting directly to our new CEO as our new CFO." Everyone applauded  and I looked at Dew and he is smiling and so thrilled about the news. "You have been a great asset to you company and have made huge improvement in the finances from the three branches you have been assigned to so it is really fitting to promote you so you can bring more in the table. We can discuss this more after this meeting."
Another manager asked since we are supposed to meet the new CEO but however we were told that there have been last minute important engagement that he needs to attend to but will meet them one by one tomorrow. Meeting was adjourned after we discussed others details and was advised that arrangements for the meeting of managers will be done this week. While I was gathering my things. "Mr. Kirdpan please stay."
I just nodded and smiled at Dew and told him to see me at lunch.
"Can I call you Nanon instead."
"Yes sir."
"Just call me Clive. Also now your position is much higher than mine so no Sir just Clive. Anyway I will need to show you to your new office after you signed these contracts."
We went to the lift and rode up to the 19th floor. I didn't even know that the company owned this floor as well. Our main office moved here last month once the merging were finalized. Others says that the CEO himself owns the 22nd floor which is the penthouse and live there.
"Your office is that door and mine is here just across yours. The door on the other side is OPC's office which is our  CEO"
"By the way, OPC is in his office now and I was  advised that we go there."
We then head to the CEO's office. After Clive knocked he opened the door and I almost froze to see the men the back of the men standing facing the glass wall. I can't be mistaken... He is...
"Nanon this is our CEO Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee"
"Hello Non long time no see."

As I was writing this one I thought to myself that it seems similar to the previous story that I wrote but what the hell we will just gave this a twist and will add complications. Hope you will be together in my journey to my new story.
