HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I've started this at 20:13 and i'm hopefully going to post this tonight! (It wont have halloween subjects included)
"Miss Ruewen! Are you paying attention?" Mr Sweeney's nasal voice cut through my bustiling thoughts. "hmm?" i replied. "were you even paying attention?" he asked with a fierce glare. Truthly, no I wasn't. I was thinking about my date with Fitz tonight. His perfect teal eyes, his cute accented voice, his muscular figure and extremely handsome looks. This teal eyed wonder boy had asked me! Me out! I can't believe it! It feels like a dream come true. And I know he won't hurt me like Valin did. "MISS RUEWEN!" Mr Sweeney shouted. I cringed and sighed internally. "Sorry Mr Sweeney" I muttered. I heard someone snicker behind me and turned to glare at them. "MISS RUEWEN IF I HAVE TO ASK YOU ONE MORE TIME THAT'S AN HOUR DETENTION!" He shouted. "sorry sir, what was the question?" i whispered. "It's on the- you know what! If you think your to good for this class you have to teach it! Write down the answers to question 1,2 and 3" he growled. I sighed and walked to the front of the class. Some students stuck their feet out and I tripped. Multiple times. I saw Stina at the front of the class and she smiled and mouthed. 'not gonna take your coat off?' I rolled my eyes and a small smile appeared on my lips. I took the whiteboard pen and quickly worked out the answer in my head occasionally jotting down notes. I dropped the pen in Mr Sweeney's hand as he fumbled around with a calculator. I walked to my seat and plopped back down, once again dreaming about a teal eyed boy.

I packed my book into my bag as Mr Sweeney dismissed us for lunch. Me and Stina were in the same maths so I waited for her outside the door. "You showed him who's boss!" she joked when she walked out. "hi to you too" I replied sarcastically. "Where's your locker?" she asked me. "erm I dont know but its number 196" i replied. "No way! Mines right next to yours! Come on!" she dragged me down the hall and after many complicated twists and turns we arrived. "Finally!" i gasped. I stuffed my books into the locker and me and Stina walked to the cafeteria.
"Sophie! Hey!" biana called. "Hi guys, erm is stina allowed to sit with us?" i asked timidly. I'd only just been befriended by this group and I didn't want to overstep boundaries. "Ofcourse!" Linh smiled. I sat down next to keefe and Stina sat next to me. I poked and prodded my food waiting for a teal eyed boy. "Wheres fitz?" i asked abruptly, my face flushing red. "Erm, I think he had some sort of club today?" Wylie told me whilst grabbing linh's hand. Tam scowled. I felt awkward talking to wylie and I just wanted to tell him I was his cousin. So I went with a brisk nod and stood up and left to get to class early feeling abit down that i didn't get to see fitz.
"Foster wait up!" keefe called. I turned and hushed him "KEEFE! NOT SO LOUD!" I hissed. He grinned sheepishly and shrugged. "What ya have next," he asked with an adorable little grin. "Erm, alchemy with Miss Galvin" i replied. "What! No wayyyyy! Same, she's the worst" he excitedly groaned. I laughed. "are you alright, I mean with everything that happened with Miss Oralie" he asked softly. I nodded and took off down the hall swiping at my cheek. "Sophieeeeeee! Lets go to alchemy, I was gonna ditch but now your here? No way" He took off down the halls. "remember what happened last time you ran!" i called after him.
"Miss Ruewen" Miss Galvin sneered as i entered her classroom. I saw keefe patting the seat next to him and i nodded. "The rules in my classroom are very clear, yet you're breaking one. However, seen as you are new i'll let you off as long as you take your coat off right now" I froze, no no no no no! I could not take my coat off but i also can't get on Miss Galvins bad side! This is bad like really bad! I hate Jolie right now. "Miss Ruewen we are all waiting" she said gesturing to the class. I nodded and looked down. My face flushed scarlet as I slipped my coat off. I hurried to wear keefe sat and sunk under everyone's stares. I saw some guys with their jaws dropped and some girls looking at me wide eyed.
"ATTENTION!" Miss Galvin shouted. I took my book out and sunk in my seat. I turned to Keefe and his eyes were wide and mouth slightly agape. "what?" i whispered. He turned away his mouth opening and shutting. I must look ridiculous! "nice outfit choice" he finally said. with what looked like a faint blush on his face. I nodded and looked down. Miss Galvins phone started ringing and she answered in a hushed voice.
"Sophie, your Dad needs to speak with you" she said rolling her eyes. I took the phone and whispered "dad not the time!". "SOPHIE ELIZABETH FOSTER-RUEWEN! YOU SNUCK OUT, TRICKED ME, SLEPT WITH THAT BOY AND DECLINED MY CALLS!" He was about to carry on but i hung up. "Erm- he just wanted to tell me he couldn't pick me up" i told Miss Galvin whilst handing her back her phone. "Really?" keefe said with a knowing look. "how much did you hear?". "Enough to know your Dad hates me" he joked. I sighed and rubbed my temples. At least i could delay going home because of my date with fitz!
---time skip to after school---
I decided not to drive to starbucks and walk instead. I passed a cute little clothes shop on my way and bought some more appropriate yet cute clothes:

I popped my airpods in and started humming along whilst i walked. I followed the road straight on just like Fitz had said and at the very end a there was a little starbucks. I opened the door and scanned the seats. I saw a little booth in the back with fitz sat with his face to the window. I smiled dreamily and walked over to the booth. I felt like I was walking on air! Could my life get any better right now? I first ordered myself a caramel waffle coffee frappuccino. waited for about 5 minutes and finally picked it up. I paid the teenage girl at the cash register and bounced over to where fitz sat, I straightened my skirt and walked into fitz's view.
My hand flew to my mouth as I saw him making out with a girl pressed up against the glass. He pulled away and i recognised the girl as Stina. "hey soph! What are you doing here?" Stina asked whilst reapplying her lip gloss. Tears started forming in my eyes and it felt as though a thousand knives had been stuck into my back. "sophie I..." Fitz started. "Don't" i snapped. I threw my frappuccino into the bin (what did the frappuccino ever do to you? 😭) and ran out of the coffee shop in tears. I was so embarrassed, I can't believe i ever thought the golden boy would like a girl like me. I ran down an alleyway and sunk to the floor in tears. How could I be so stupid?
