(He looks so sweet. Anyways this book is ending and I wish it could have been longer. It's kinda hard when it's one movie. But I am so thankful for the reads. Also check out my Johnny Lawrence fanfic. I have three more fanfic books in the making and I can't wait to publish them once finished. Alright enough of me talking, enjoy.)

Sarah and me held each other catching our breath. David on the other hand did so, but made a smart remark to Jack.

"Couldn't stay away?" David made a face while I sighed.

Jack looked him up and down before responding, "Well," His eyes met mine, "I guess I can't be something I ain't."

"A scab?" David eyed him.

He's a lot of things but certainly, "A liar?" I sneered. I was hurt. I never knew I could love someone or even be with any guy like him.

He slowly bit his lip and looked down at his feet, "No, smart." He looked up, his eyes meeting my confused ones.

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean is, all of this has been a lie, okay," he sighed, "I'm not a scab," he looked at me, "And I do care about you."

My heart fluttered but I had a bad gut feeling. Was he telling the truth. Would I be able to handle it if he was not. I really don't know.

David grabbed his shoulder, "What are you talking about?"

"You guys really thought I would leave you?"

"Well yes." Sarah commented.

Jack looked at me with sympathy and regret. Sarah and David saw that just as much as I did.

"We will leave you guys alone." Sarah pulled her confused brother away.

I watched them leave hearing Jack sigh, "Should I believe you?"

He was quick to grab my hands, putting them in his, "I missed this. I had to hurt you, you wouldn't believe me if I did."

I felt tears forming in my eyes. Gosh, why do you have to cry, "You did hurt me Jack. Look, your my first love. Hopefully my last, but it really did hurt."

Jack had a lot of sadness in his eyes. I knew he had to do what he needed.

"I didn't mean it," he put my head in his hands, "You listen to me. You are everything I need. Everything I will ever want. You are the most smart, beautiful, kindest person I've ever met," Jack was lost in my eyes as he pulled me against him, "I love you." He whispered.

I didn't waste anytime to kiss him. It felt good to know he loved me. I love him too, and I would do anything to stay like this forever. Jack pulled away pulling me into a hug.

"We have to be quick. I have a plan about what to do with Pulitzer."

"Did you mean what you wrote about in those papers? About those sweat shop kids listening to me?"

Denton stood at the door nodding, "I don't write anything I don't mean. We'll come on in, I was just packing."

Jack grabbed my hand leading me in with him, David and Sarah followed with Les. After an awkward silence and the door closing Denton spoke up.

"I meant it. This city thrives on child labor," He eyes David, "People make a lot of money off of it. They're terrified that the newsies strike will spread." Denton walk closer to us.

My heart fluttered feeling these jack played with my fingers and holding me tight to him. I missed this. I missed him.

"Well there is not really much chance since they got the power." Jack intervened.

Denton fiddled with paper, "Sometimes all it takes is one voice. One voice that becomes a hundred and then a thousand," he sighed, "unless it's silent."

Jack looked down, "why can't we spread the strike? Have another big rally and get the word out?"

David scoffed walking up to us, "What are you going to do? Put that in the newspaper?"

(The grammar on this might be bad. I've been getting pretty lazy about proofreading it. Sorry.)
