Denton climbed out of the window smiling at Jack, "I'm thankful Mr. Pulitzer let us use his print."
"Yeah let's hope we get to thank him someday."
I lightly laughed before kissing Jack. He pulled away after a minute staring at me, "What?!" I lightly laughed while smiling at him.
His smile grew as he looked me up and down, "You're so beautiful."
I felt my cheeks get hot, "Jack! Hurry up we need to get these going!" I laughed kissing him one last time.

The guys and I sat at our usual spot at the statue. The sun was hot, blaring down on us, waiting for anyone to react to the paper.
"So when's the others coming." Mush looked down.
Jack sighed quickly getting up, "There ain't nobody coming alright," he pulled me into his arms, "there ain't going to be no one but us."
"Hey," I held his face in my hands, "They're coming. They will," I kissed his lips, "I believe in you."
"Jack look!" Les pointed to the crowd of people marching and singing.
"They're here! They're actually here!" Jack smiled at me.
"I told you they would come!" We laughed as he picked me up spinning me around.
"I love you so much." He let me down, wrapping an arm around me as we watched the crowd pull in. That's when I saw Spot.
"Spot!" I smiled and ran to him.
Spot was quick to wrap me in his arms, "I've missed you sis."
"I've missed you too!" I wasn't letting my brother go anytime soon.
"I'm going up to Pulitzer!" Jack yelled over the crowd, I quickly nodded, smiling up at my cowboy.
————
"There he comes!" Boys yelled as Jack pushed through the crowd.
People questioned him as I gave him a look of hope. Jack was quick to lean down the Les's ear whispering. Jack allowed Les onto his shoulders.
"We beat 'em!" Jack yelled as the crowd went ballistic.
"Hey don't feel bad weas it's alright!" Racetrack mocked the sorry man.
I laughed as Spot pulled me by his side.
Les looked worried, "Jack it's the bulls!"
Jack quickly let Les off. But I was quicker to run in front of him.
"Please don't leave me Jack. It'll be okay." I looked at him with an expression of sadness.
Denton quickly ran over to him, "Jack it's over you don't have to run!"
We started watching as boys from the home were running out of the back off the cage that held them in. Then came Crutchie. I couldn't believe it.
"Officer may I please?" He took the door slamming Snyder in, leaving the crowd to go crazy. Crutchie ran over to us as pulled him into a tight hug.
"I'm so sorry Crutchie. I've missed you so much." I said truthfully.
He pulled away smiling, "It's alright. Don't worry about it." That's our Crutchie.
Everyone waved the warden goodbye. It was good seeing him go away. Jack could be free of worry. Even me. I know I'll always have my Jack. Speaking of Jack. He walked up to me gripping my waist, pulling me into him. He stared into my eyes.
"So what do you say about Santa Fe?"
(One more chapter guys. I'm sad but happy that this is comity a end. I will get to work on my other fanfics thankfully. But I am also thankful for all the reads.)
