After school I went home and took a nap. When I woke up I went to the mirror and took off my glasses. I went to the store, and looked in the glasses section. I got contacts checked out went home and put them in. It took a while to get them in but I managed. I fell back asleep to the sound of ocean waves. The next morning, I drove to school wearing my black chevron maxi dress. Today was homecoming. I went to my first class, and the principal showed up with a new student. She introduced the girl, her name was Lexi. She was a cheerleader... She talked the whole class period and her voice annoyed me. We went to lunch and I sat with Vince. He told me to close my eyes and put my hands behind my back. I did what he told me and he took something out of his bag and put it on me. The football team ooooohed and aaaaahed. I opened my eyes. A corsage! It was beautiful! I kissed Him and the bell rang for the next class. I walked to English and the Lexi was there next to me.
