I went to school the next morning and it went by quicker than I expected. I got home and my mom and dad were looking for things to cook. My mom asked me to go to the store. I told her I couldn't because I had homework. I didn't have any but I was too lazy to go. She told me she would check it when she got home. She got the car keys and left. She went to the store and got what she needed. I turned on the news because that was the only thing on. I watched for a bit. Right when I went to turn the TV off, the guy said, warning warning, stay off the roads! I kept the TV on. The man said that there was a drunk driver on the loose and was on synthia street. I screamed! That's the street by the store! I panicked and called my mom. She didn't pick up! The news kept going.
Grocery store (mom)
I walked to my car and got in I drove to synthia street and took off. All of a sudden out of nowhere a car swerved into my lane. I tried to swerve out of the way. The next thing I knew my head was ringing and I was in the hospital. I saw Rachael and my husband next to me crying like crazy. I had a bad headache, and when Rachael and my husband had to go in another room, they rushed me off to surgery. We zoomed past other nurses and doctors into the room. I started having sezures. Then there was a long ring in my head. All I could hear was, hurry, doctor, we're losing her....
