We sat in silence for 3 minutes until Mr.Howard started talking. "So,why did you feel the need to slap Mr.Vince across the face?" He cheated on me I said. Howard rolled his brown eyes and looked at Vince. Well Mr.Vince, I think that you both deserve 1day of suspension. Vince yelled back," why do I." Mr.Vince! Enough of the back talk you are suspended tomorrow and I will see you the next day! We walked out of the office, turned, and went our separate ways. I went home and texted my friend Christi and told her what had happened. Then I fell asleep with my phone on. I woke up the next morning and went to my kitchen. I made a cup of coffee and then woke my dad up to tell him that I had a fever. I didn't want him to know about me being suspended because I was a good kid. Before he went into the kitchen I put the thermometer in the coffee for 1 minute and "checked" my temperature. I gave the thermometer to my dad and he told me I should stay home from school. He left for work and I went to my room and layed down until I knew he had gone. I hadn't used that trick since the time I was embarrassed because I accidentally went into the boys bathroom, and didn't want to go to school! I knew that I couldn't text Christi because she was in school so I sat there thinking about the loooooong day ahead of me. I cried that night thinking what a fool I had been. I really loved him, I really, really did.
