I went back to school late and sat down for lunch. I walked to get my tray from the line. I was walking to take my seat with Christi, and everyone started laughing and whispering to one another. I sat down and the giggles stopped. I asked Christi what was wrong, she rushed her hands to my wrists and turned them over. How'd you know! I asked. She told me that Lexi had told the school about my mom dying, and that she knew I cut my wrists. She was watching me! I couldn't eat, I couldn't talk. I absolutely hated her! She got to my last nerve and at the end of lunch, I walked up to her. I thought to myself, it doesn't matter if I get expelled, I'm moving anyways! I looked at her green eyes and her face, then, I kicked her shin, then dumped her tray on her. I walked away and went to my next class. I sat down and Lexi walked in 30 minutes later. After the class, I went to my last class of the day. After school, I saw Vince in the hallway. He said to me," I will see you again Rachael Anne Green, I love you." He kissed me on my forehead and he drove me home. He walked me to the door and he stood there in the entrance under the twinkling stars,the porch light shining on him, and the wind blowing his hair. I had to lean over and give him a big hug. We stayed like that until he let go of me. He looked into my blue eyes and before he left, he said," I'll see you in Paris, Rachael Anne Grace." Then, he left me standing on my porch with his words in my head.
