Going back to school

Vince's POV
After a week I went to Rachael's house and spent the night since I didn't see her for a week.

When I woke up that morning Rachael was still asleep. I walked down the stairs and stepped outside into the cold air. It was almost winter and that meant me and Rachael's one year anniversary! I'm so excited that we've been together a year now. I love her so much. But, I have no clue what to get her. I knew right then and there what I would get her! She lazily walked out and sat on the porch swing with me. She leaned over and put her head on my shoulder and I said," good morning my love." She smiled weakly then said," did Winston bother you last night?" I laughed and said no. She smiled and then we both realized that we had missed 3 days of school! It was Friday! I had to wear the clothes I had on on the plane. I changed and then she changed and then we got in her car and drove quickly to school. We made it! When we got there, we were just in time to get to our first periods.
*************************************At lunch, me and Rachael sat together and when she sat down after getting her tray, she remembered about our anniversary! OMG Vince! It's our anniversary tomorrow! I need to go to the store. She whispered under her breath. I laughed, me too!

After school, I drive to the store to get something for Rachael. I went to the card section and picked out a card. Then I went to the candy section and got some chocolate and flowers. I checked out and had to duck from Rachael because she was here too. After I checked out, I went to the coffee shop and got a vanilla bean mocha frappe To-Go. I got the coffee because that was the first place we went on a date. I picked Rachael up at 7:00 and told her to get in the car. She asked me where we were going and I told her it's a secret. When we got there she said," why are we at the football stadium?" I grinned and pulled her to the locker rooms. When we got there she still had no clue about what was happening. I told her in a whisper," it's the first place we kissed." She smiled then said awwww your so sweet! I handed her the coffee and then she knew what that was for. She said," that's the place we had our first date and ordered the same thing!" Then I played the music jailhouse rock. She smiled even more and said," that's what song was playing at the coffee shop!" I gave her the chocolates and blue flowers and she said," and these... Are my favorite color." She held back her tears and hugged me so hard that I thought I might die! She kissed me on the cheek and handed me my present. I opened the rectangular box and inside it was a new pair of football cleats! I needed those so much! I hugged her and then layed down on the bench, just like when I got injured in the football game. She smiled then kissed me for what seemed like forever. Once she helped pull me off the bench, I sat up and she leaned on my shoulder and said," Vince Rawling, I love you so much." I smiled then said, "I love you too Rachael, love you too."
