I had fallen for him and he broke my heart. I lay in my bed and rubbed my eyes. I couldn't sleep that night because I couldn't stop thinking about it. Maybe they were just friends? I didn't know...... When I woke up I was late for school. I got my dad to write me a fake permission slip. He drove me to school and I walked into my first class. I sat down and then I remembered something. I had the Texas History test! She passed them out and I looked down at it. It listed all the 50 states and we had to name the capitols. I randomly started putting answers. The only ones I knew I got right were Texas,Louisiana, and California! I knew that I should have studied. We turned our papers in and then we left. I walked out of the room and Vince stopped me in the hallway. I asked him what he wanted and he replied," why were you angry with me at homecoming?" I told him, "So now you want to know?" You didn't ask me the day of? You know what you did! He acted like he had no clue. Your dating Lexi! The new girl! He said he was sorry, and when the hallway was cleared, he tried to lean in and kiss me. I slapped him on his cheek right when the principal walked by.. We both ended up in the office and got a stern talking to by our principal Mr. Howard.
