Chapter 23

A/n: I'm so sorry for like just completely abandoning this book 😅 I have been reading more than writing bc I've had like no motivation soz lads but it is what it is so here's a chapter for y'all

Evie's POV:
I didn't want to wake up as memories from last night replayed in my head and I dreaded wake up knowing that we would have to wake up , Mione would have to leave my dorm and we would have to go about our day. I knew I'd have to move at some point but I didn't want to disturb the sleeping lion who was cuddled impossibly close to me, if she had been any closer to me I think she'd be a ghost about to float through me.

I peeked my eyes open ever so slightly just to make sure she's still asleep, when I see that she is a smile creeps it's way onto my face

"Your beautiful" i whispered silently, if I hadn't known I said it I wouldn't have ever heard it and I again gazed ay her taking in every small detail of her face and how peaceful and blissful she was, quickly glancing over my shoulder at Ginny and Luna, they were still asleep.

Turning my attention back onto Hermione I saw her eyes opening before she grimaced at the light starting to fill the room from the black lake and shove her nose back into the crook of my neck trying to escape the light

"Well good morning to you too poppet" I received a mumbled response from the owner of the fluffy hair spilling out of my jumper

"Come again?" I jokingly respond

"Morning.. can we go back to sleep now?" She replied

"As much as I would love that right now I need to get the three of you out of my room for breakfast, but don't worry you'll still get annoyed by me- I'm not that easy to shake off if I was I'm sure Draco would have by now" I laughed at the though- he wouldn't have gotten rid of me regardless he enjoys my company too much- makes a change from those oafs that follow him around

"Fine, we don't have classes today because it's finally the weekend so after breakfast your coming back to Gryffindor with me" Hermione begrudgingly pulled her head out of my neck semi peeling herself off me but not fully

"Do we wake them up?" I questioned

"Probably should, you wake up Luna I'll get Ginny up"

-minor time skip-

I had successfully gotten Luna up and awake, she still had her shoes on for some reason- I didn't really want to ask her why

"Ginny! Wake up! Don't be so lazy we have to get breakfast!" Hermione shouted calmly at the ginger

"Let me try" I said walking to the opposite side of the bed to hermione

"If you get that girl up I will be shocked" Hermione comments

"Just watch, I used to do this to Draco all the time when I was the first one to wake up- he wouldn't dare do it back to me though he quite values his life" I chuckle at the thought

I grab hold of Ginny's left arm and her left leg- I didn't want her to fall flat on her nose so I was going to be nice(ish) and I pulled back on her with all my strength and night and as she fumbled out of the bed onto the floor I let go of her arm and leg and ran to the side hermione and Luna were (failing at) trying to contain their laughter as we saw a ginger head shoot up from the floor

"WHAT THE HELL WHO? WHAT? HUH?!" The now very awake girl screamed and looked over to the three of us laughing so hard that we were using each other as support stands in an attempt to not fall over
