Chapter 14 (prt2)

-Hermione's POV-
After about half an hour of Evie swaying back and forth trying to comfort me we ended up cuddling for a lot longer afterwards- so much so that the boys nearly pounded the door down. Making Evie's breath hitch as she tried to brush it off as a 'reflex'.

Twins: "Love birds open up!" Evie sat up to open the door but I didn't want her to leave me in the place I've just been crying in for the last half hour. As she stood up to give me one last hug I wrapped myself in her warm embrace, i didn't want this moment of us in almost complete silence to end.

" Lets go see what this secret pranks all about" Evie whispered in my ear gently
"I'd rather stay here thanks" I whispered before laughing slightly if I can do anything after almost a year of knowing Evie is that she doesn't like to disappoint anybody. Heck she does even want to disappoint Ron, which I why I think she hasn't asked me out yet...
"Well then..." she moved her hands lower than my waist and lifted me up so I was straddling her chest while she stood up.
"It constantly amazes me from the fact I'm so much shorter than you yet I can carry you no problem" Evie laughs gently into my hair as we walk to the door, I kept my legs and arms wrapped nicely around Evie's delicate body every so often I'd look down to her as if she was alright.

I'm not going to lie but I really wish that Evie was taller than me so I don't feel like I'm about to crush her at any given moment.

"Hey guys!" Evie said poking her head into the crack in the now half opened door not letting them see the fact I'm being carried by someone smaller than me as well as the fact I look like I'm about to crush her

"Oh Evie, Draco said he was walking down to breakfast and brought you some clothes- seeing as your still in your ones from yesterday" Harry said easily

"I didn't think Draco would have walked up to the third floor when the great halls on the ground floor." Evie tried to get me to stand back on my own two feet so she could get her clothes off Harry.

"He didn't we were walking down to the hospital wing- since you broke Ron's nose" the twins laugh easily

"Nope I'm not moving" I whisper quickly down at Evie she simply rolls her perfect eyes.

"What's going on Evie?" Fred states quickly while opening the door just enough to see me holding onto the Slytherin like my life depended on it and all three of the boys smirked at us

"If I've ever see a cuter couple then I'll sell my soul" George laughs easily while I blush profusely and freed my right hand from holding onto the shorter girl below me.

"I'll get changed into the clothes Malfoy gave me then Harry?" Evie said avoiding George's previous statement, she reaches out with her right hand as he passed it to her and closed the door as they laughed running back down to the common room.

" you have to go down now" she gave me her puppy dog eyes which put me in a trance and as soon as I snapped out of it I was sat on my own bed and Evie was getting changed in the corner of the room- she pulled her grey jumper off and realised she must have forgotten to pick up the hoodie Malfoy brought her back up when she put me down on my bed and as she walked up to me, her body looked about three years too old for her age she might have been short but her body made up for that quite easily as she reached for her navy hoodie I grabbed it and she laughed
"You can keep it if you want it, think of it as a thank you gift" she smiled warmly while grabbing her shirt she wore under her jumper yesterday and suddenly her body went from that of a gorgeous 16 year old model to a delicate 13 year old girl

"Poppet? Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" She laughed as she realised I was staring at her body
"Oh I know what your looking at, it's a spell that my parents put on my clothes once I started going through changes in my body so I looked more my age - they don't want to give anyone the wrong idea" Evie explained as she pulled her jumper over the top, I changed into my clothes and Evie's hoodie and realised my body hadn't changed at all from the spell

"That hoodie suits you Poppet, I don't have an explanation why suddenly that hoodie doesn't have the spell that my shirts have - maybe it's just my shirts" Evie shrugged her shoulders and we left the girls dorm

-Evie's POV-
Hermione looks amazing in my Navy hoodie, I hope she likes it, she looks amazing in it and I'm envious about the fact that my parents spell only worked on me, but I can now at least use the excuse of the fact she's wearing my hoodie and that she looks lovely in it.

Once we had entered the common room my parents owl arrived in the Gryffindor common room with a letter

Dearest Evie,
your farther and I are sorry to say that we are unable to take time off work when you arrive home from Hogwarts.
We have four options for you to chose from, once you've made your decision please owl us back
- you could stay at Hogwarts over summer, we will arrange it with Dumbledore
- you could come home however the house elves will look after you
- we can arrange for the Malfoy's to have you
- if possible one of your friends could have you however they must be a girl : we don't want you in any funny business

I passed my parents letter to the group of Gryffindors that had collected around me reading the letter silently over my shoulder.
Each laughing at my last option.

George: "HA do they not know your a lesbian- We don't want any funny business!. You could still get it on with a girl!"

Harry: "Your parents are completely clueless aren't they?"

Hermione : "I'd let you stay over at mine, but I'll have to ask my parents"

Fred: "Or you could stay over at our house, but Ron won't be to happy about it"

Evie: " thank you guys but I'm probably going to spend some time with Draco. I feel kind of bad for not hanging out with him for so long- I mean I could come and see you over summer break"

Everyone seemed shocked that I wanted to stay at Draco's house over Summer - but they've not known him as long as I have so I can't blame them.

As we all walked down to the Great Hall, Draco joined our little group as we talked about summer holidays and what we'd all be doing and I brought up my parents letter- I was curious what everyone would have said.

Draco: " I can't believe your parents want to leave you at Hogwarts for a whole summer! You can definitely stay with me at my house" I smiled at Draco wearily and looked over to Hermione to see that she seemed quite ticked off with the fact that I might be staying with Draco for a whole summer. I gently put my arm around her shoulder- she's still so much taller than me but I don't really care, I rubbed her arm in an attempt to cheer her up while looking up at her beautiful eyes. We stayed like that nobody saying a word for fear of ruining our little moment.

We entered the great hall together and we all sat at the Gryffindor table, I noticed Harry and Draco would eventually meet eyes and I just played it off as them warming up to each other. Hermione would every so often smell the sleeves of my hoodie or just play with the draw strings of the hood, it was so cute because she thought nobody would notice.

A/N: I'm trying to get chapters out as much as possible I just haven't had any ideas on what to write or much motivation to regularly put out chapters- got to love high school
