Hangovers hit you like a brick wall.

     You flutter your eyes, stretching your sore body, easing the aches in your back. You sigh, thankful for waking up in your comfy bed. There are faint sounds of birds chirping outside. And a gentle breeze blows through the open windows, causing you to shiver.

     You turn around and see Kaeya lying beside you, fast asleep and snoring lightly. You smile softly at him and stare at the ceiling, basking in calmness, then memories from last night flash in your mind.

     The celebration in Angel's Share, the wild party, loud people, and strong hypnotic beverages. A very well-known tradition for every adventurer to do after a long rigorous expedition.

     You remember Kaeya rushing into the tavern and hugging you so tightly that it almost hurt and his lips on yours. Drinking and chatting away the lost time with him. And then the party was over, and it was just the two of you again. Going home together in his room. His hands caressing your body, lips biting and sucking your neck and shoulders. Your heart thumps loudly inside your chest, and you feel flushed all over after connecting the dots. Your sore naked body, and Kaeya in bed with you?

     The memories make your stomach flip.

     "Hey darling," Kaeya groggily mumbles, stirring at your presence. "Morning." He smiles sleepily. "Are you okay? How's your body feeling?"

     "Good morning too," you whisper softly, smiling sheepishly. You gently touch Kaeya's cheek, moving his blue hair covering half his face. "A little sore, nothing too bad." His arms wrap around you in a tight embrace, and he gives your foreheads little soft kisses. A wince escapes your mouth once your body hurts, and Kaeya pulls back a bit.

     "Are you sure you're alright? Sorry if I got carried away last night. Think I overdid it?" He pouts.

     "Don't flatter yourself," You scoff playfully.

     "How about I make up for it? A little massage to soothe you darling." Kaeya suggests.

     "Sounds wonderful."

     You sit up and stretch; Kaeya sets the blanket aside and signals you to approach him. He reaches your shoulder and begins massaging it gently, strong fingers kneading out the aches in your muscles. It feels incredible, and your body relaxes under the gentle touch. The heat from his skin rubbing against yours sends shivers down your spine. You close your eyes and sigh in bliss.

     Your breath hitches as his finger glide down your back, tracing along your spine. Kaeya leans closer, warm breath purposefully breath down your neck, sending shivers down your spine. You shudder as he continues massaging your back.

     "What's the matter?" He purrs, feigning innocence.

     "You're such a tease, you know that?" You roll your eyes.

     "Darling, you should be worried if I wasn't," Kaeya chuckles before tracing the bruises on your neck. You flinch and Kaeya mutters an apology. "I think I have some cream for those hickeys. Want me to put some on? After?"

     "That'd be great; I'll scrub your back in the bath later to repay you. But I'd have to wear a scarf again today, wouldn't I?"

     "I'll get you your favorite scarf when you leave... But it's cute when you're all shy about it. I like them." He grins, continuing his business, rubbing soothing circles on your shoulders.

     "I'm not like you, showing your marks to everyone loud and proud. Though who am I to stop you?" You sigh, smiling when you remember his antics. The first time you gave him a kiss he wouldn't stop yapping about it to anybody. Be it every single member of the knights of Favonius or any adventurer that would be unfortunate enough to be acquainted with him.

     "I didn't hear that properly, darling. Did you mean 'a happy and proud one-of-a-kind partner?'" Kaeya smirks before kissing the back of your neck.

     "Oh, how silly of me for getting it wrong–though I suppose that's not all bad," you trail off, flooded by nostalgia and sweet memories between you two.

     Kaeya hums, and your train of thought is cut short when his fingers trace circles in your stomach. His lips brush against your ear, and he blows softly, causing goosebumps to rise on your skin. His hands roam around your hips and thighs slowly until they reach your waist. A light squeeze ensues, and Kaeya chuckles as you glare at him.

     "Looks like someone's not massaging me anymore; I remember this not being part of the deal. You keep doing that, and we won't make it anywhere." He comes closer for a kiss, and you shush him with your finger. "I'd love to, but bath first; let's continue this later."

     "Aww..." He says, pretending to be sad. But as soon as that frown appears, a bright glowing smile replaces it instead. "Alright, I'll get the bath ready; you stay there and relax darling." He steals one more kiss before standing up and stretching; to get clothes and prepare for the bath.

     "Sure–don't forget the scarf!" You shout as you wrap yourself snuggly in the blanket.

     "Yeah, yeah!" He replies, voice echoing from the other room. You circle your shoulders and sigh in relief. Despite his teasing earlier, at least the massage worked, and you don't feel like you got hit by a train last night. "How about I cook for us as well? Teyvat Fried Egg? Sound good?"

     "You better not burn it!" You joke, giggling at his sigh. His head pops out of the door, and he frowns at you.

     "Oh my, I'm offended for you to think I'd burn such a simple dish." He responds in amusement, "But I'll take that as a challenge, nonetheless. Let's see what I can do."

     "Be careful not to poison me," You tease as he disappears back into the room.

     "My, I'd never!" He shouts. You hear the water begin to run and Kaeya rummaging through the cabinets. A few minutes of silence pass before he throws you your towel.

     "Darling it's ready! You coming?"

     "Yep!" You answer, yawning before standing up. The sheets get thrown to the bed before you walk to the bathroom.

     You love these little moments in life.
