The Alpha's Goddess

Chapter 6

Selene is awake early the next morning, the memory of last night still playing on her mind. The way her powers over come her terrifies her. What if she hurts someone she cares about. It would be to much for her. She slowly and quietly gets out of bed not wanting to wake Dax up, putting on her leggings and his jumper she walks out of the door. She needs to speak to the elders to find out the extent of her powers. As she walks across the hallway she sees one of the Alpha's from last night.

"Sorry to interrupt Alpha James but would you know where the Elders are?"
"Of course Luna Selene. Follow me"
He smiles at her and the two walk down the stairs. He keeps staring at her and then looking away. It makes Selene slightly uneasy.

"Sorry I don't mean to stare but you are so mythical."
"Is that a bad thing?"

"God no. Goddess you being here is an amazing thing. I think last night people were just shocked the provicy had come true"
"Not as shocked as I was I can tell you"
He chuckles lightly and smiles at her as they stop outside a black door. She knows this room like the back of her hand.

"Thank you Alpha James"
"It is my honour Luna Selene"
He bows to her and then leaves her be. Selene takes a breath before gently knocking on the door. It opens instantly and she is met by Hendrick a smile on his pale face.

"Come in Luna"
She smiles and walks into the room. The elders sat at the table talking. When they see her they go to stand.

"This is a social visit no need to stand"
"What can we help you with Luna?"

"Gideon what the hell was that last night?"

"It was your power surge."
"But is it dangerous"
One of the younger men stands and goes to her placing a hand to her cheek.

"Goddess you are not evil. The powers are to protect those under your reigns, you protected yourself last night from evil. You will not be a danger to Dax"
"How did you"
"I can read emotions from a touch"
"Wait so you all have a gift?"

"Kind of. Our gifts can only be used on wolfs. It is to help establish liars and those who are evil"
"So to stop you from being duped by con wolfs?"
"I guess so yes."
"What are my powers exactly?"
"That we don't know. The one who holds the answers is you."
"So I have to have a conversation with myself. Great"
The elders can't help but laugh. Selene is like a breath of fresh air. Strong yet sarcastic in a humorous way. The sound of knocking on the door has Hendrick getting up and answering it. The sound of Dax's voice has Selene biting her lip. His morning voice is way to hot. It is like a mixture of Barry whites deepness and the gruffness of Michael B Jordan.

"Is Selene here?"
"Yes Alpha Dax. Come in"
He walks in and goes to her crashing his lips to hers. She feels his panic hit her like a ton of bricks.

"Baby girl I thought someone had taken you"
"Babe I needed to speak to the Elders and you were to cute to wake up"
"Next time please just wake me up"
"Promise"
"Is everything okay?"
Dax looks to the Elders and they nod.

"Selene had some worries about her powers but she knows now to not worry"
"Thank you for your help."
"We are here to help you when every you need Luna do not hesitate. But I would speak to your wolf."
"Don't worry I plan on it"
"Baby we need to get going soon to get you settled in the pack house."
"Okay lets go Romeo"
Dax smirks and picks her up and carries her out of the room. Taking her back up to their room. Other pack members saying hello and bowing to the two as they walk past. Once they get into the room Dax lies her down on to the bed.

"What was you worrying about?"

"That my powers would hurt you"

"Baby girl when ever you have doubts like that just let me know. I am here for you"
"And I am here for you just so you know"
