Chapter 11

"Woo no wait"
Selene watches as Hyunwoo flips the pancake and then tries to catch it, her stomach hurting from laughing so much. They are waiting for their mates to come back after Dax got called to an emergency meeting at the Earth pack. Hyunwoo is at the house with Selene and as the time went on the two decided to try and make pancakes. Trying being the appropriate word. They gave up on the American style pancakes an hour ago and Hyunwoo found the English pancake recipe.

"Sisi is it supposed to be this difficult?"
"I don't know but I can't breathe"
Selene gets the spatula and tries flipping the pancake and when it does the two start laughing.

"Maybe we should of been using this all along."
"I think you might be right"
The two cook off a pile of pancakes and then quickly clean up before getting toppings and going to sit on the sofa watching a K-Drama that Hyunwoo has got her addicted too. Hyunwoo is just glad that two months ago she didn't leave and that Dax finally put an end to women throwing themselves at him and getting away with it. Everyone in the pack know that Hyunwoo and Selene are close, they are close with Eleanor and Amara but the two are literally together most of time. Hyunwoo has also been helping Selene adapt to her goddess side a lot better and she has fully embraced all her power and there is a lot. The elders basically saying she is like an unlimited power source. All of the packs in the regent have submitted to her being there Luna Regent, the night of the party making them fall in love with the young girl and feel more safer from their enemies knowing she is there. Selene is just happy that she has someone other than Dax that she can count on, for her Hyunwoo is like a brother that she never knew she needed but she is glad that she has him. She also knows that Hyunwoo is hiding something. Chase even picked up on it and asked her if he had said anything.

"So Woo what is going on?"
"Nothing I am fine"
"Okay we can do this the easy way or I can call your wolf..."
"Fine. It is my parents back in Seoul. They are having trouble off a neighbouring pack they are scared and there isn't anything I can do"
Hyunwoo starts to cry and Selene pulls him to her and comforts him. She gets her phone out and messages Gideon

Gideon me being a goddess of the moon and hunt does that just mean in America?xx

No you are the goddess for all wolves. xx

So even the ones in say South Korea?xx

Gideon

Yes even those why?xx

Just wondering how far it went that is all xx

Selene puts her phone down and calms Hyunwoo down whilst she forms a plan in her head. As soon as Dax gets back she will have to tell him the plan. When she hears Hyunwoo lightly snoring she gets up taking the dirty plates and going to wash them before sitting back on the sofa looking up the cost of plane tickets on the laptop and also the price of a passport. She doesn't like seeing Hyunwoo upset and wants to help him like he has helped her since the moment they met.
The door to the house opens and closes around midnight. Dax and Chase walking in to see Hyunwoo fast asleep.
"Did he say anything?"
"No. I will let it out of him don't worry chase"
"Thank you Luna"
He picks Hyunwoo up who sighs in content as he carries on sleeping in his mates embrace. Chase says his goodnight and Dax sits down next to Selene. He pulls her onto his lap so she is straddling him and presses his lips to hers.
"Hey baby girl"
"Hey handsome. How did the big emergency go?"
"Honestly I wonder sometimes who the grown men in this world are. Me and Chase get there to see the Alpha going nuts at the Beta. When I got them separated to find out what was going on I nearly slapped the shit out of the both of them."
"Why?"
"They were fighting over a chicken leg"
Selene suddenly bursts out laughing and Dax looks at her in fake shock.
"Are you laughing at my pain baby?"
"Sorry baby but that is class. Fighting over a chicken leg"
She buries her head in his neck as she tries to contain her laughter. She has met the Alpha of the Earth pack and although he is built like the rock the guy is definitely a hippy at heart. The image of him fighting over a chicken leg is something comical to her.
"How was your night?"
"Made pancakes and just hung out. Are you hungry?"
"Yes but I am cooking for us"
"But"
"Nope I cook and you can tell me what Hyunwoo told you about that is upsetting him."
"How did you..."
"Your nose twitches when you tell a lie"
He kisses her nose and lifts the two of them up, walking to the kitchen and putting her on the counter next to where he will be cooking.
Dax gets the steaks out and cooks them after adding his seasoning and then gets the salad ready.
"So what is going on with Hyunwoo?"
"It is his parents. They are scared of a rival pack. Hyunwoo feels hopeless that he can't go and do something"
"Unfortunately we can't. They are a different pack"
"Technically you can't but I can"
Dax stops and looks at her.
"What do you mean?"
"I messaged Gideon asking exactly how far my goddessness expanded and basically it is the entire world. So I can go to Korea and help them without any implications"
Dax stops chopping the salad and sighs.
"When?"
"However quick I can get a passport. I know it isn't ideal but Hyunwoo has done so much for me since I met him that it is hurting me seeing him upset"
"I know baby girl." He carries on making the food and Selene is wondering if she has pissed him off. Even as they eat he is busy tapping away on his phone. Before long she can't take the silence anymore.
"Babe your mad?"
"No baby girl I am not mad. I was just organising the trip to Seoul"
Selene chokes on her drink when he says that. He looks at her smirking.
"Didn't think I would let you go alone did you baby. Can't have you running off with those idols"
Selene gets up and goes to him straddling his lap. She just hugs him how she got lucky to have him she will never know.
