New Start

Arthur Leywin

We were already late on our first day at school then meeting with Director Goodsky..such a pain.
"Arthur, here" I look around and saw Elijah calling out my name. Why is he looking so happy I thought
"I can't believe I attend the same class with two goddesses" Elijah beamed.
So that was the reason.
"Don't look at me like that! How can someone get to meet with the director before attending a class"
"You're talking as if I have done something wrong to get called by the director"
"Yeah yeah so what's your punishment bud?" Elijah smirked.
"You'll find out soon"

Few students were talking about the disciplinary committee, and few talking about the new student council president.
I can hear dissatisfaction from many because of not getting picked for the disciplinary committee.
"Is that a big deal?" Elijah asked standing beside me.
" It is, it'll help one to make significant progress, more facilities, more responsibility blah blah"
Director Goodsky entered the podium, and addressed the student a few words then he called out the new student council President
"Tessia Eralith"
I can see Lilia tagging with her as the Vice President.
"Now my students, you already got to know about the disciplinary committee, let us welcome them with a round of applause"
"Hey I was told it would be eight members" a girl spoke in front of me.
"Now I would like to invite the last member of the Disciplinary committee"
"Are you angry about not being chosen?" I asked the girl.
" Of course I am, just let me see who is that last guy! By the way, who are you?" She turned.
"I'm sure the chosen guy is not even half good as you"
"Arthur Leywin, please come into the stage"
"Now who the hell is that Leywin"
"It's me" I whispered.

Everyone stared at me as I walk crossed them, I can hear a few cursing me even Elijah, whatever.
I know a few of them on the stage, Curtis chuckled as I stand beside him. I wasn't sure if it was Princess Glayder standing on the other side of Curtis, I can find it out later I thought.
"Now my students, you all already know about the new tournament going to be held next week. Although you all will not get the opportunity to participate, there will be a test and then you all will be divided into a few groups with the members of the Disciplinary Committee and   student council."
