I was late to arrive, if someone else didn't show up it could have turned out very bad. I thought of asking the princess who helped her but it can be done later. How placid she may look, after witnessing something like this for the first time can be traumatizing.
I escorted the princess back to the flying castle.Whole Sapin was on alert as the news of Elenoir spread out.
I can hear the voice of King Glayder accusing the other rulers, and about the new continent that got revealed recently. Although I know about the land of Asuras, the artifact we're using now were bestowed upon to our rulers by them I never heard the name of Vritras. I opened the communication scroll to check on the other Lances..
"Generals, what's the situation?"
"This is General Aya, the situation is under control, although so many damages and casualties have been done but they failed to achieve what they came after. And sorry General Varay I don't think I can come back to the castle for a while, General Bairon will leave for the castle after everything sorts out"
"I see" I put the scroll back.
It was my decision to send Bairon to Elenoir, I was afraid that the Darven rulers might take this opportunity and ambush the Elenoir although king and queen Glayder hasetated at first but we all know the Asuras are watching, our
rulers can't be reckless, the Asuras surely know something about the new
continent. Even today, Princess Glayder was saved by someone strong enough to handle a Vritra who killed hundred of royal soldiers, there's a chance that person can be an Asura. I thought of contacting the other Lances, Lance Olfred, Mica and Aya who has been away from castle for a long time.
"Lance Zero" I turned back as one of the Knight bowed. I signed him to continue to what he has come for.
"As you ordered the whole Sapin is on high alert and except the castle of Sapin no place has been targeted by any invaders."
"Keep the soldiers on high alert, things may have come under control but it can escalate at anytime" I replied.
"Understood, there is one more news I got from one of the soldiers" the Knight paused for a moment before saying it
"There was a trace of dragon flying toward the castle of Sapin, few units of soldiers were sent to follow the dragon and as they reach the castle it wasn't there" he finished.
"You may leave" the Knight bowed again and left silently.
The more the night gets long the more I'm getting curious about everything.

Aldir

"You did well" I addressed Arthur as we were flying above the Elenoir Kingdom. Arthur came back through the teleportation gate I gave him.
"Aren't you helping too much, I mean the treaty still stands but you're helping us to stop the Vritras" Arthur asked tiredly.
"One of ours is your bond at the moment, we are still don't know how Agrona will approach to this situation.And I'm not going against any law, I won't do that for your people, we are just keeping an eye on your Continent's rulers" before I could finish Arthur spoke out.
"So that the Vritras can't use us against you right?" He asked looking down at the the sight of Elenoir. As the battle ends people all around were rushing here and there, we can feel the presence of Lance Phantom even from here up in the air.
"You always catch up things quickly but sometimes it's not wise to do so"
"No I'm just grateful, I mean we all are, If I were you, maybe I would have chosen the other option"
I looked at him, he did the same but after a second he just smiled.
"Bad joke" He said.
"So what now?" He added.
A shadow fell on us under the dim light of moon, I didn't turn back.
"Lord Indrath has sent the message"
Windsom bowed.
