A few days later, Mikasa and Levi are sitting in the bathroom. Mikasa is doing a little better than a few nights before and she has resigned herself to having to wait for her first pregnancy. To distract herself, Mikasa has decided to cut her hair short for today, almost as short as on her photo of her ID. Mikasa finally has to go to the bank to activate her account and she has been putting it off the whole time.
Now she is sitting in front of the mirror at the sink and Levi behind her.
"I'll miss your long hair," says Levi thoughtfully.

Mikasa sighs in frustration: “Levi, we talked about it. To activate my account here at the bank, I have to look approximately the same on the photo. It's just hair ... "
Mikasa had to raise this issue two days earlier and Levi has accepted her decision, although he objects to it. However, he also knows her with short hair, which doesn't do anything to her femininity. Mikasa opts for the bob. The short hairstyle only brings back bad memories and Levi manages to change her appearance almost to how she looked in the passport photo from a few years ago.

She knows this feeling all too well by now and it always prepares her for what happens next. He breathes in the sensitive area between the neck and the earlobe. His breath is hot on her cheekbones.
"How did I change? I'm still the same… ”she says, astonished. Levi nibbles on her earlobe aroused. He is surprised at her remark. Apparently she really doesn't seem to notice her changes in herself, but he can't explain the reason for this. He just knows that it is.

Mikasa bites her lower lip with stimulation, she knows where this is going and she misses being one with him.
