Chapter 11

Mckennas POV

Today is now Tuesday. Which means there's 2 days left until we leave for Mexico. Leo, Kristen and I were hanging out by the pool due to it being so hot the last couple of days. We were all trying to ride out the heatwave.

"So are you going to come visit us in Mexico?" I said peering over the pool wall at Kristen as her and Leo laid on the sun beds

"I'm going to try, I'm flat out trying to get through my list of jobs. I head over to Paris next month though, maybe I can catch a flight to Mexico from there?"

"Paris?! omg I love Paris"

"Their food is shitty" Leo exclaimed

"It's not always about the food stupid head" I replied

"I'm just excited to have a break after Paris, being a model is hard work"

"And you want me to try it out, you're not being very convincing kris" I said laughing causing her to shrug

"Pfft you be a model?" Leo said lifting his head over at me

"Don't be mean Leo" Kristen said hitting his leg

"You didn't give her your agencies details did you?"

"In fact I did, what are going to do about it" Kristen said getting up and walking over to the pool and dipping her legs in.

"Don't be stealing my cast babe... in all seriousness Kenna please don't think about modeling until after the movie, after that I don't care what you do" he said putting his head back down

"I wasn't plan on doing it anyway so you can chill" I said starting to float back into the water

"You won't even consider it?" I shook my head at Kristen. After going to my costume fitting the other day, I soon realised I was not cut out to work in that industry. Having someone judge your appearance and making changes without your consent sometimes just isn't the life I wanted.

"I'm flattered, but I think I'm gonna stick to acting for now" I smiled

"I can't imagine you being a model anyway" Leo shouted out

"Hey!" Kristen and I said in unison. "Shut up Dicaprio"

After some time, we were all seated at the Sun lounges just chatting our little hearts away. Leo and I talking about memories as Kristen listened

"Kenna!" I heard someone call out, I turned around and spotted Ava running towards our direction

"I'm sorry I hope it's ok I invited Ava over" I quickly whispered. Leo sighed and Kristen smiled

"The more the merrier" she said.

I popped up and walked over to Ava, engulfing her into a hug

"How did you get in? I thought I told you to message me" I said laughing as Ava threw he bag onto the table that was outside and took off her coverup to a revealing cut red bikini. I widened my eyes knowing that she never ever wore things like this.

"What are you wearing?" I slowly mumbled

"I got it yesterday! Cute right" she said as she twirled showing off her set

"I thought I'd be able to get some perfect wear out of it today hehe, and Marissa was out the front as I got here so she let me in" I nodded slowly

"Is that Leo?" She said glancing over at the Sun lounges. Before I had the chance to reply she was already brushing pass me and heading in their direction

"LEO omg fancy you being here" as if she didn't know he was going to be here. She seems so... different today? I shrugged and walked towards the spot. Kristen stood up as Leo still stayed on the lounge only sitting up this time.
