Lou's POV:

It was already getting late so I told the uglydolls that Mandy and I should go home. We said goodbye to them and walked back to the tunnel.

"This place is so fun! Thanks again for bringing me to such a place, Lou." Mandy said.

"You're always welcome, Mandy. And if you want, you can always come back here whenever you like." I said with a smile.

"Really?"

"Of course! And if you're worried about if you're allowed to do so, don't worry. As your leader, I'm giving you the freedom to go anywhere you want." I said.

"Oh, right. Sorry..." she said in a low voice.

"Why? What's wrong? There's nothing to be sorry for." I said, reassuring her.

"It's just that...for a moment I forgot that you're our leader. And I feel guilty for talking too casually to you. I don't want to be that kind of doll who is 'feeling close' to a doll like you. You're a doll who has a high position and I don't. I just want to point that out." she explained.

My face was saddened by her opinion.

Is that what she thinks?

"Mandy, there's nothing to worry about. Really. All of you pretty dolls can talk casually to me. So don't worry about it, ok?" I said as I gently put a hand on her shoulder.

"You're right, thanks for reassuring me," she said and smiled.

I smiled back at her.

"Oh, by the way, Lou."

"Yeah?"

"Are there any other dolls like me? Who are...you know? Different from the other pretty dolls?"

"Actually, you're the first doll who looks different."

"Oh, I see."

"Why?"

"I'm just curious. Anyways, shall we?" she said.

"Of course," I smiled.

We continued to walk towards the tunnel until we got back to the institute. After we got there, I walked Mandy home like yesterday.

"Hey, Lou?"

"Yes?"

"What are your hobbies? Sorry, I just want to get to know you."

"It's ok, my hobbies are singing and dancing," I replied.

"Really? You sing and dance?" she was shocked.

"Yeah, I always do that whenever I feel like it and whenever we have a concert."

"Wow, then I look forward to seeing you sing and dance in the future." she smiled.

I chuckled.

"Sure, sweetheart. You're always welcome at my concert," I smiled.

Wait, what? Sweetheart? Did I seriously just call her that?

She suddenly stopped and looked at me.

"Did you just call me 'sweetheart'?"

"Oh, s-sorry. It's just that I like to give my friends some nicknames, especially the ones who I'm comfortable with." I said.

That's actually a lie. I don't know why I suddenly call her that

"Oh, I see."

"Why? You don't like it?"
