Friday quickly came around and Shay was stood infront of her bedroom mirror, admiring her Halloween costume. After her shift last saturday she and Eddie had tried to decide on matching costumes while they smoked and snacked. They'd grabbed a few blankets and sat out on her bedroom balcony so they could see the stars. It made the whole high experience so much better.
After a few hours they had finally settled on an idea and Shay had told Eddie to let her sort the costumes out. She had just finished putting the finishing touches on her Sarah Connor outfit and she was very pleased with how it had turned out. Eddie was currently in the bathroom putting on his Terminator costume. Unfortunately Eddies hair wasn't short but they compromised and he had let her put his hair up in a messy bun. He already had the leather jacket so all she'd had to get a hold of dark jeans that werent ripped, big black boots, sunglasses and a fake toy gun.
As soon as Eddie stepped into her room in his costume Shay averted her eyes, trying not to stare at his bare torso under the leather jacket. Instead she focused on his face and how he had used some of her brown eye shadow to make his face look a bit dirty. He held his arms out and gave her a twirl.
"Well? What do you think?" He asked, grinning at her.
She thought about how she would let him terminate her any day. "You look great!"
"Do you think you could make it look like I have a six pack?"
"Eddie, you don't need a six pack. You look great as you are! Now come on, we need to get going." Shay replied, shaking her head at him and throwing him the fake toy gun. She checked herself in the long mirror one last time before she followed Eddie down the stairs. Thankfully Steve only lived a couple of streets away so they chose to walk.
"You look amazing, by the way!" Eddie turned his head and winked at her as he walked out the front door. Shay was thankful all the light were now off so he couldn't see her blush. It was slightly chilly but Shay had a jacket on so it wasn't so bad. As for Eddie, he was like a human heater so it didn't bother him so much. The pair linked arms and strolled slowly to Harringtons house.
After five minutes Steves house came into view and they could see a bunch of people standing around on the front lawn. Some were stumbling near the bushes and others were just sitting down, chatting with red cups in their hands. They spotted a few vampires, werewolves and unsurprisingly some slutty cats. Slutty cat was normally a cheerleaders go to. Eddie lead Shay up the path and as they approached the front door it opened, revealing an excited Robin.
"Yay! The best people are here!" She exclaimed, grabbing them and pulling them both inside before shutting the door. "Steve! STEVE!"
Shay took a moment to check out Robins outfit. "Rob! Are you Marty Mcfly?"
"Yeah! You think I look okay?" She asked, wrapping an arm around Shays shoulder.
"Oh my god, please tell me Steve is Jennifer!" Eddie shouted, starting to get excited himself. Robin and Steve had kept their costumes a secret.
"Say one word and I will kick you the fuck out, dude!" Steve said as he stepped into the hallway and dodged a few drunk girls.
His friends tried to hold back laughs as they took in Steve outfit. He was wearing pink trousers with a white shirt, a blue vest and white sneakers.
"Oh Stevie boy, you look gorgeous!" Eddie smirked, giving his friend a wink and earning another glare.
"Doesn't he look great! He wouldn't let me do his hair though. It was hard enough to get him to wear this!" Robin shouted as the music suddenly got louder.
Steve just rolled his eyes at them and gestured for them to follow him into the kitchen to get some drinks.
"Oh Steve, your ass looks good in those pink trousers!" Shayed shouted after him, giggling. She didn't notice the annoyed look that flashed across Eddies face after she said it.
