I want you to know who I really am,
In the darkness of the night,
When my past comes back to haunt me,
I want to show you what makes me who I am!
Because with you, I feel loved, I feel whole, I feel wanted. Because with you, you make me something brand new!
You make me feel happiness, just like the first,
You make me sing all the brand new lines,
You make me smile, even when it's hard sometimes,
Because with you, I am someone new! I'm not the old me, the one who only seen the worst of things. I'm no longer a broken shell of who I was before,
Because you showed me, my past no longer defines me.
I want to show you who I really am, all my creases and cracks, and all my bandages and would, because you make all things new.
You saved me from myself, even when I didn't know I was loosing. Because you were holding me, and you were carrying all my burdens away, because you loved me, and I never knew.
I never knew you, I never knew how much you could care so deeply about someone who only fails even at the simplest of things,
But you renewed me. You make me whole, and now that I am with you, I have no holes left deep within my heart... so thank you, for healing me... thank you, for loving me... and thank you, for finding me...
