Summary: Austin thinks it's funny to scare you

It's 1 in the morning and you are worried. You're worried about Austin, he isn't home. You've texted him, and even called him but there is no reply from him. He said he'd be home by 10, and the hours had gone by.

You're sat alone in yours and Austin's bed alone in the dark. It's raining outside, and you can hear it.

You are mindlessly scrolling through Instagram on your phone, constantly checking texts.

You hear a knock at the door, that soothed your nerves because you knew that would be Austin.

He called you.
"Hey, baby, sorry I'm late I'm just walking home now." He said
"Hi, are you sure your not at the door?" You asked, concerned
"No? I'm walking home now." He corrected you.
"Well then who's at the door?" You asked
"I don't know! Answer it and you'll know." He said
"Wait, you WANT me to get it?" You asked
"Yeah, just go baby." He instructs.

You take the baseball bat for self defence.

"What if it's a kidnapper?" You worry.
"A kidnapper isn't gonna walk up to your house and just take you are they? Just answer." He said

You put your hand on the door handle. "I'm scared."

"I'm here. Don't worry." He reassured.

You open the door and no one is there.

"No one is he-"
"RAHHHHH" Austin jumps out.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" you scream, dropping the baseball bat.

He stops but yet again you still scream

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH" you continue

He is shrieking back at you, mocking you, laughing so hard he is nearly crying with laughter.

You slam the door in his face, trying to hold in your laughter, pretending to be mad.

He desperately knocks on the door, giggling

He knocks firmly once again, "Baby, I'm sorry."

You opened the door.

You fold your arms, fake-angrily.

He tries not to laugh.

He covers his mouth and chuckles, "I'm sorry"

You crack a smile and pick up the baseball bat.

"I hope that wasn't meant for me." He smirks, looking down at you.
"Well it was." You replied, smirking back. "Why're you so late?" You then asked, stopping your smirk.

"Work." He replied
"Work, huh?" You asked, rubbing his shoulders.
"Should've finished for you." He smiles, bending down and putting his forehead against yours before kissing you.
