You couldn't believe it was finally happening. After years of hard work, you had landed the role of your dreams as Ariel in the new live-action Little Mermaid movie.

Tonight was the LA premiere, which you had invited your loving, and kind boyfriend Austin, who had come to support you, like you did for him in countless movies.

This was your first big role and you were so excited, and Austin was so happy for you. He'd been your biggest supporter whilst filming, and you wouldn't have done it without his love, and that's why you desperately wanted him to come.

As you stepped out of the car onto the red carpet, flashbulbs went off all around you. You felt a little overwhelmed by all the attention, but Austin's hand on your back gave you the courage to keep moving forward.

You hadn't ever felt so overwhelmed before. You weren't that popular yet, but everyone seemed to be yelling your name, desperate for attention.

The premiere was everything you had hoped it would be.

Of course your co-stars were there..like Jonah Hauer-King who was playing Prince Eric..and that obviously meant there was a few kiss scenes.

You'd had him over before, and Austin had met him but he talked shit after he left, saying that he was doing a 'guy thing', making fun of people to impress you.
Well..it certainly didn't impress you in the moment, but he was a good friend who you also wanted to spend time to.

"Y/N!" He called over, and you ran over, giving him a hug, slipping away from Austin. "Gosh, I miss seeing you daily."

Austin slowly made his way over to you, awkwardly, putting his arm back around you.

"I know, I really miss you." You sighed.
"Hey Austin." Jonah said.
"Hi." Austin responded, quietly, shooting you a side glance. You nudge him, as if to say cut it out.

"How're you?" Austin asked.
"I'm fine." He nodded. This was so awkward.
"Well, I think I'm gonna go and talk to some interviewers." Jonah said.
"Alright Jonah, see you later. I'm gonna do the same."
He smiled. "See you Y/N. Bye Austin.."

You went over to speak to interviewers, dragging Austin along.

"Y/N, where did you even come from? You've grown so quickly in the media, and everyone already loves you. How does it feel?" A nice lady asked.
"It's wonderful, I really am grateful, and I'm so thankful..I just love every one of my fans, and all my cast members."
"We think you're gonna do great in this industry, Y/N." The interviewers complimented.
"I hope so!" You laughed. "No, I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Thank you so much."
"Thanks for your time, Y/N, bye."

You moved onto the next person.

"Hi Y/N! You really are the star of the show tonight! We love that you brought your boyfriend, Austin butler along with you. Has he been good support and motivation." The lady said.

"Oh, yeah, he's just the best ever. I wanted to bring him cause otherwise I wouldn't be here right now." You smiled, and Austin realised you were speaking about him, so he came over and you gave him a big hug, and the interviewer thought it was so adorable.

The movie looked stunning on the big screen, and the audience was completely swept up in the story. Especially Austin, who kept leaning to you and saying stuff like, 'that part was so good baby' or something sweet like that.

But as the movie neared its climax, you felt Austin's grip on your hand tighten. You turned to look at him and saw a look of jealousy in his eyes.
You followed his gaze to the screen, where Ariel and Prince Eric were sharing a kiss.

You couldn't help but smile at Austin's reaction. It was sweet that he was getting jealous over a scene in a movie, even if it was just acting. You leaned in close to him and whispered, "Don't worry, it's just acting. You're the only one I want to kiss."

He sighed and nodded and you could tell he was still a bit jealous.

"I love you." You say nudging him. "You're my favourite person to spend my time with, ever, every day, every night. You know that?"

Austin smiled at you, and you could feel the tension in his body ease. He leaned in to kiss you, and you felt a rush of butterflies in your stomach.

You realised all your worries had gone away, and it felt like the only thing in the room was Austin, you and the movie. You were in your own world with him, and it was just you and him.

As the credits rolled and the lights came up, you felt a sense of pride wash over you. You had done it you had brought one of your favorite childhood characters to life on the big screen.

"You did that, baby you did that all by yourself. You're so good." He smiled, kissing your hair softly.

You finished up the evening, and went to an after party. But what you liked most about the evening was how Austin reacted as soon as you were walking back to the car.

He lifted you up, and kissed you all over.

"You did it! You finally did it!" He exclaimed, excitedly.
"I did, huh? Not without your help I wouldn't have." You giggled, as he sent a shiver down your spine after running his cold fingers down your back.
"Oh, Y/N. I'm so proud, beautiful girl." He said, dropping you down.

You hugged, and kissed romantically in the middle of the street.
