You were sat in bed, jealousy eating you up inside. Austin, your boyfriend was paying you no attention whatsoever, and you've been having arguments, and when he got home he would go on about funny things that the girls on set did. Austin put a picture of him and a girl from his hair and makeup department for the movie and that was your final straw.

This wasn't to say you didn't want him to see any other girls, but it's just tough when other girls are winning him over when he's been your boyfriend for 4 years. And, everyone gets a little jealous sometimes. This was just one of the times for you, especially after your four year anniversary. You just felt extra clingy to the handsome boy.

You went downstairs as the bedroom was boring and not much longer after that he came into the house.

He put his bags down and came over to you.

"Hey gorgeous, how was your day? Mine was totally hilarious, so, my friend Amy kept making jokes about her height compared to mine and that she only ever wore converse and she hated skirts, she said she should've been a boy instead, and that's why she only ever hangs out with guys. It was so f-"

"I bet I was absolutely hilarious, because by the sounds of things it 100% was. I'm trying not to piss my pants with laughter." You said, sarcastically, with a dead expression on your face.

He stops talking. "Fine. If you're gonna be like that about it I won't tell you what happened."
"If it's another 'funny' story, you're doing me a favour by not telling me." You said back.
"Whatever then." He mumbled and walked away.

He sighed, and went over to sort out his stuff, he started by dumping loads of his scripts down and reading through them. You continued watching the tv as you had been before.

You got bored of scrolling and you decided you'd just get an early night. After taking a shower though, of course. You slid into the clean, white bedsheets, and rolled around. It felt spacious without Austin laying peacefully beside you. And weird. You couldn't sleep so you went on your phone for a while.

He came up to bed and took his clothes off, leaving him in just a pair of boxers, and he got into bed next to you.

He looked at you for a moment whilst you pretended not to see. He then started to cuddle up to you, slipping his head through your arm to put his head on your chest. You looked down only to see his hair infront of your face. He was so cute, but you were mad at him.

"Get off of me." You said and turned away, pushing his head off of you. You accidentally hurt his neck as he grabbed it and winced from the pain a little bit. It made you feel bad but you were too stubborn to speak.

"Why? Why are you being so mean to me?" He asked.

You ignored him and turned off your phone, then you turned off the lamp.

"I just wanna talk." He said quietly. "I just wanna talk to you. When I've had a hard day, I like to think that I can come home and have breath of fresh air, away from all the work, and you don't realise how much that helps me, just to talk to you. Even if it's briefly speaking before we sleep or saying bye in the mornings. It's just the little things that count, Y/N. Something so small to you can really help me. But, if I've upset you and you won't talk to me about it then I can't do much to help." He said, waiting for your response.

You wanted to say something back. You really did. But..you couldn't. You didn't know what to say.

He soon realised you still weren't speaking and he sighed. "Goodnight, Y/N. Love you."

Before you knew it, it had been another sleepless night of staring at the ceiling and walls, alone with your thoughts. Austin's alarm went off and he sat up, rubbing his eyes. You pretend to sleep.

He looks at you and strokes your cheek gently before giving you a kiss and getting up.

He went into the bathroom and you got up and went downstairs. You sat down on the couch, and curled up in hopes of getting a little bit more sleep down there, but you had no luck.

Austin came down with wet hair. He kept shaking his head to dry his hair, because he doesn't really know how to use the hair dryer by himself. You usually do it for him.

He took the oat milk out the fridge and and took a swig of it. He carelessly threw it back into the fridge and threw a piece of bread in the toaster.

"Baby, do you want some toast?" He asked, loudly so you could hear.
"No." You answered.

He mumbled something like "okay."

He came in with the hairdryer.

"Please can you dry my hair." He said.
"No." You answered.
"Please." He said.
"No." You answered.
"You could at least show me how to do it." He said.
"Okay well I'm not going to." You shrugged.
"Yeah. I guessed." He said.

He sighed and sat down.

"What's wrong?" He asked. "You're not usually this mean."

You avoid eye contact but he grabs your face, and turns it to him, forcing eye contact.

"Look at me. I just want to talk to you." He said. "What's wrong?"
"I feel like..I just feel a bit jealous." You said.
"Sweetheart..why? Of who?" He asked.
"Well I was trying to kiss you and hug you but you just pushed me away and kept on texting girls from work." You said.

He sighed. "I'm sorry. Just I know we've been arguing a lot recently..so I've been asking the girls at work what to do to help us to see if they had ever been in the same situation. I was just trying to understand you better.."
"I'm so sorry." You said, getting teary eyed, hugging him. "I've been so mean to you.."
"It's okay." He said. "Don't worry."

You started to sob onto his shoulder, feeling nothing but guilt.

"Hey, hey. Don't get upset." He said and picked you up, and sat down so you were on his lap.
"Sorry." You said and looked at him. "I'm really sorry. And what you said last night kept me up. I'm sorry."
"I love you, okay? I'm just glad you're talking to me again."
"Yeah. I didn't know how much longer I could've not spoken to you." you smiled.

He smiled back, and you have never felt so glad to talk to him again.
