You and your boyfriend Austin had been together for several years. You had been through thick and thin together, and had shared many great memories.

However, recently you had been feeling down and Austin had noticed. You didn't wanna talk to him because you know it's just been awards season, he didn't get an Oscar award so you didn't wanna put your problems on him.

One day, Austin sat you down to talk to you.

"Baby, what's going on? Somethings up, I know that there is." He said.
"I'm just feeling a bit lost at the moment. I just need to get away from everything and distract myself somehow." You admitted. "Just need to..clear my head. You know?"

Austin listened intently and then went quiet for a moment. You knew there were many thoughts in his head as he thought about what he could do to help you feel better.

He nodded. "Okay. You know what? Tonight we're gonna have a little date night at home tonight. We're gonna go to the store, then I'm gonna make you dinner, then, we're gonna watch a movie and cuddle all evening."

You nodded, excited for the evening. You got ready to go to the store and you left.

In target he held your hand the whole time whilst he asked you what you wanted for dinner.

On the way back home he put his hand on your thigh, rubbing it.

You got home and as he promised, he cooked you dinner, and you ate with him. And as planned, you sat down and watched a movie together. You rested your head on his chest as you watched the movie and drifted to sleep.

The next day, Austin came home from work with a big grin on his face. "I've got a surprise for you," he said, handing you an envelope. "We're going on a trip."

You opened the envelope and inside was a plane ticket to Hawaii. You were shocked and excited all at the same time. You had never been to Hawaii before, and the thought of spending time there with Austin was thrilling.

The next few days were a blur of packing and planning, and before you knew it, you were on a plane to Hawaii.

You fell asleep on the plane until you were shaken awake.

"Y/N! The fucking plane is crashing wake up!" Austin hissed quietly.
"What!?!" You sat up, looked around and out of the window to see you were on the ground and everyone was making an attempt of getting off.

"Very funny, Austin." You said, as he laughed proudly at his own joke.
"Love you." He kissed your cheek.
"Let's just say the feelings not mutual." You joked.
"It's actually the feeling IS mutual, not the feelings NOT mutual." He laughed.
"This break is meant to relax me, so stop bullying me." You said.
"Sorry. It was just jokes baby." He replied, putting his arm around you as you walked off the plane.

The warm sun and gentle breeze enveloped you, and you felt your worries beginning to melt away.

Austin had planned everything down to the last detail. He had booked a beautiful beachfront villa, complete with an outdoor shower and a private pool. The villa was surrounded by lush greenery, and the sound of the ocean waves was the only thing you could hear.

"I can't even begin to imagine how you afforded this." You said, look around.
"Yeah, don't." He sighed, chuckling to himself a little bit.

You turned around and he noticed tears forming in your eyes. "Austin, this is so perfect." You said and looked at him.
"Sweetheart, don't get upset." He said, coming over to wipe your tears away.
"It's not that," you sniffled, as he waited patiently for your words, his eyes full of anticipation. "I haven't been treated this well in..a long time."
"Well..be happy cause you're being treated like it now!" He said, smiling.

You looked at him and smiled, still crying. He stopped looking so happy and looked at you.

"Is there something you're not telling me?" He asked.

You shook your head.

"Okay darlin'. As long as your happy." He said.

"I am. Thank you, Austin." You smile, kissing him. "Right. This is no pity party, let's get so drunk we can't remember eachothers names."
"Um..okay maybe not that.. but we can have a few." He said.
"Yeah whatever. Come on." You said, dragging him into the bathroom with him to shower together.

You went down to the bar after getting ready, and had a FEW drinks, so you could actually enjoy the next day without being hungover.

You spent your next day lounging by the pool.

You were in the pool with Austin, closely kissing, but you got kicked out of the pool for that.

Austin had also planned a few other things to do, like a hike to a stunning waterfall and a romantic sunset sail.

As the days passed, you felt yourself becoming more and more relaxed. Your worries were fading away, and you were able to focus on the beauty of the moment. Austin was by your side every step of the way, holding your hand and making you laugh.

On the last night of your trip, Austin took you to a secluded beach for a candlelit dinner. As you sat there, looking out at the ocean and feeling the sand between your toes, Austin took your hand and looked into your eyes.

"I love you," he said. "And I want you to know that I will always be here for you, no matter what. I will do anything to make you happy."

Tears welled up in your eyes as you looked at Austin, feeling overwhelmed with love and gratitude. "I love you too," you whispered. "And this trip has been amazing. Thank you for everything."

Austin hated the fact you always cried, it made him sad to see you cry, but you couldn't help the fact you were just so emotional about everything.

And the truth is, you knew he was doing this whole happy thing for himself too. To distract himself from his real sadness, and his tiredness to be happy for you. To be ready to comfort you when you needed it, no matter his circumstances.

Austin smiled and leaned in to kiss you. As your lips met, you felt a rush of emotion, and you knew that this trip had been exactly what you needed. You felt recharged and ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

The rest of the night was spent in each other's arms, talking and laughing until the stars began to twinkle above. Eventually, you made your way back to the villa, exhausted but happy.

As you crawled into bed, you turned to Austin and smiled. "Thank you for this trip," you said. "It was exactly what I needed."

Austin grinned and wrapped his arms around you. "Anything for you," he said. "I just want to see you happy."

And with those words, you drifted off to sleep, finally happily.
