Joe and Demi separated that night, the little girl needed to stay in hospital but only one of them could stay. Joe stayed knowing that Demi would be more comfortable in her own bed, she could still take care of Adam knowing that Joe would call her if anything was to go wrong with the baby. She was only thirteen weeks pregnant but they would always do what was safer for her and the baby. She would be over at the hospital early that morning after dropping Adam off at her parent's, they haven't told anyone what had happened yet and won't until they know that it's their daughter. Either way they have fallen in love with the baby and are consider taking her home either way. Demi smiled when she wondered into the hospital room seeing Joe laid on the couch and the baby girl sleeping on the bed in a baby grow and a blanket covering most of her body.

"Joe?" She whispered not wanting to wake him up if he was sleeping but he looked up at her smiling back, he marked his place in his book before setting in on the table at the side of the be allowing Demi to sit down next to him once he was sat up again.

"How did you sleep?" Joe questioned wrapping his arm around her bringing her closer to him, Demi smiled leaning her head on his shoulder.

"I slept good," Demi answered. "How is she?"

"She's fine, been sleeping a lot of the time but woke up for a bottle, the nurse said they had the details about her but he would tell us together in the morning." Joe explained Demi nodding her head as a comfortable silence filled the room but Joe couldn't help but notice something on her right hand, her ring finger had the ring on that he was supposed to be proposing to her with before he fell to his death. He smiled kissing her head before taking the ring off her finger, Demi watched his hands as he moved the ring onto her left hand on the correct finger.

"Wrong finger." He grinned making Demi giggle before they shared a kiss.

Joe and Demi spent the next half an hour or so just talking until they heard a cry fill the room, they both got off the bed rushing to her side but they knew that she would just be hungry. The nurse wondered through with a bottle not long later once Joe had informed her that the baby girl was crying and most likely hungry. Demi held the girl in her arms as she fed from the bottle taking her time, that was when the doctor came over too so they could hear the news of whether this baby was their daughter. Either way they both knew she would be coming home with them.

"This baby girl is indeed your daughter Ella, she is still a newborn." He explained the smile only getting wider on Joe the parent's faces.

"Is she okay though?" Demi questioned not moving her eyes off the newborn laying in her arms, Joe was watching her too but did look up at the doctor when he spoke.

"She is fine, if you would sign some papers she can go home with you." They both thanked Dr. Greene before he left the room to go see to his other patients. Demi smiled when Joe wrapped his arms around her from the back leaning his head on her shoulder both of them admiring Ella as she finished off the bottle.

"We don't have anything for her." Demi stated.

"I'll go out now and grab a couple of things, do you still have Adam's crib?" Joe questioned.

"Yeah it's in the spare bedroom, we just mainly need clothes. Some of the clothes Adam wore we can use if their not to boyish." Demi stated.

"Let's just get her home after seven years." He grinned Demi only smiling wider.

"I don't care why this is happening, all I know is I'm getting my family back." Demi replied Joe smiling this time kissing her neck as it was all he could get to then pulling away from her standing up putting on his jacket.

"I'll be back soon with some clothes for her." He stated giving his girls a kiss before he left already feeling as if he wanted to be back in the room.
