Narrator's POV

Lauren joined Camila back in the living room. She brought a jar of lemon water with mint leaves along with two glasses. Lauren put them on the table and sat next to Camila, who had been beautifully sitting there, holding a green cushion on her lap. Lauren smiled when she saw Camila subtly check on her chest as she left three buttons unbuttoned after changing into shorts a moment ago.

"Do you like wolves?" Lauren asked as she sat next to Camila.

"Yeah... I like animals." Camila said, "...but we can watch something else if you don't like them."

"Yes, I like animals, too, and documentaries." Lauren smiled. She knew Camila loved animals.

"Okay." They shared that brief look again.

They started the documentary about wolves. Camila had watched it before. She just chose something she had watched, so that she could focus more on enjoying time with Lauren than watching tv. Meanwhile, Lauren was familiar with this documentary. She watched it once, even though she did not finish it. For the first fifteen minutes, none said anything. For the next fifteen minutes, Camila and Lauren would exchange opinions about the documentary they watched.

"They look scary but are still the most loyal ones to the mate," Camila said.

"Yes, it's incredible," Lauren said.

"How about you?" Camila seemed to randomly throw a question at Lauren.

Lauren turned her head, looking at Camila, "me?" She was a bit taken aback. It was like out of the blue from wolves to Lauren.

"I mean... are you a loyal... person?" Camila repeated. She chose the word person than girlfriend.

"I am," Lauren answered firmly.

"Oh..." Camila did not respond much in a low voice. She looked back at the screen.

Lauren was still looking at Camila, "I don't look like one, do I?"

Camila looked back at Lauren, "No...I mean... yeah..." Camila was nervous. "no, you are... I..." She felt bad for judging Lauren too soon. She did not say it, but she did think Lauren was a super-loyal one nor a cheater, too.

"Am I?" Lauren frowned, "is it because I have that friends-with-benefits thing?"

"No, I mean..." Camila did not mean to make Lauren feel that way.

Lauren smiled, "you can tell me what's in your mind, Camila."

Camila smiled sheepishly, "I did not mean to say you're not loyal or something. I mean you're into a casual relationship or whatever it is. One can be loyal in an open relationship, too, right?" Lauren did not answer immediately. It made Camila nervous, "am I right? I mean one can be in a casual relationship or an open relationship but stays loyal and not cheat as long as everyone involved is clear about everything. It is how it works, right?"

Lauren smiled, "Don't worry, Camila. I'm not offended. I just wanted to know what you think."

"Okay..." Camila seemed a bit relieved, but she was still afraid that she offended Lauren.

"How loyal am I in your opinion?" Lauren asked. "You can tell me the truth. I might have a self-reflection to do." Lauren chuckled.
