Sitting sprawled in his seat, Jaemin tore a few pages from his notebook and began to roll them up like origami.
Raewon sitting next to him by the wall watched his actions with sudden interest. She watched as his fingers moved neatly curling and folding the paper.
"What are you doing?"
She leaned in and whispered at him. Jaemin shrugged his shoulders and continued to fold the paper without looking at her.
A few minutes passed and Raewon watched him in a trance. It turned out that he was folding little paper birds.
There was still an hour left of the professor's lecture and Raewon felt she was falling asleep. Lying down on the desk, she rested her head on the shoulder and her eyes grew heavy. She didn't know when but she fell asleep. Suddenly she heard a whisper.
"Rude to sleep in class like that."
Frightened, Raewon rose to a sitting position looking for a source of the whisper.
The lesson continued. Luckily, no one noticed her reaction, except for Jaemin who was sitting next to her.
"Did you say anything?"
"Rude to sleep in class like that." He repeated in a low voice, finishing assembling the last bird and placing it in the center of the desk among twenty other birds of the same size.
Raewon sighed and lay back on the desk in the same position. "Give me a break."
"Do you have a black pen or marker?"
Raewon frowned at that question.
"Why?"
"I need this. Do you have it?"
"I think so. Wait." Raewon took her hand blindfold into her pen case, pulling out a black pen and handed it to the boy.
"Thanks."
She watched Jaemin color the folded birds from the white sheets of paper. When he finished coloring all of them, the bell rang announcing the end of the lesson.
With one move, Jaemin pushed all the birds off of the desk and they fell straight into his bag. He got up and pushed his chair back. He took an item out of his pocket and leaning over Raewon, placed something on her head.
"You snored at night."
Jaemin announced and turned to make his way towards the exit of the classroom.
Did I? Jesus, how embarrassing.
Raewon got up and shook off the item Jaemin had placed on her head. A black-colored paper bird. Raewon searched the crowd in hope to see Jaemin in it but he wasn't there anymore.
She laughed under her breath and twisted the bird in her fingers. It looks a bit like a raven. Could it be a raven?
Jaemin resembles such an annoying and stubborn raven.
Raewon gathered her things in her bag in addition putting the black pen back in the pen case.
On her way to the door as she was the last one in the classroom, she stopped and looked again at the paper crow resting on her palm. Raven boy.
Unaware of her radiant smile that appeared on her face, she stuffed the raven into the pocket of her hoodie and left the classroom.
