"Where were you? We were supposed to go to the store?" Jaemin lowered his head and avoided Raewon's gaze.
"Uhmm, yeah, let's go."

Raewon walked beside Jaemin thinking about today's meeting with Chenle. She was happy to meet a new friend. Especially since the boy had already written to her before Jaemin arrived.
Jaemin thought about the boy Raewon met. He seemed like a threat to him. Jaemin started to feel some strange emotions towards the girl and he was really afraid that someone could snatch her from his arms. He wasn't ready for such a move. He found someone who he felt safe with and he wasn't happy about the situation. The two of them seemed so close already.
Entering the shop, Jaemin headed towards the soups while she went for a drink. Grabbing two sodas from the fridge Raewon walked over to Jaemin and poked his arm. He flinched and sighed deeply.
"Which ramyeon do you want?"
"You choose."
"Okay, this one?" She pointed her finger at something and Jaemin, not looking in that direction, nodded.
"Jaem, what's going on?" The question knocked him out of his rhythm as Rae looked at him with a sympathetic look.
"Nothing."
"But I can see that something is wrong. Is it Sangwook's doing?"
"I-it's not him."
"So what?" Raewon had enough of the boy turning his head away from her all the time. She couldn't see his eyes through the hood that covered his entire face.
Unable to bear the silence, she pulled the hood off his head in one motion and ran her fingers through his hair.
Jaemin, surprised by the sudden movement, looked at her with a guilty expression. When she stopped combing his hair, he finally decided to speak up. "I've seen you with some boy before."
Raewon looked at him confused but after a moment a light bulb lit up in her head.
"You mean the new boy? Chenle?"
"I have no idea what his name is."
"I met him when the diary fell out of my hands. He's a great guy. You should meet him."
"I-I don't know if I want to, Rae." Jaemin took two packets of ramyeon and headed to the cash register, not looking back at Raewon. She followed him and set the drink down next to the packets.
When they both paid and left the store, Raewon stood in front of him, blocking his path.
"What's up? You seem more overwhelmed than before."
He inhaled sharply and looked at her with a grim look.
"Look, I feel bad today okay? I want to go back to the dorm, eat and go to bed okay? I don't want to talk about it."
Raewon's expression went haggard. As if the sun had suddenly been covered by the clouds.
Trying to understand the boy and respecting his emotions, she put her hands on his shoulders.
"All right. Let's go eat."
She said with a fake smile on her face hoping that he would tell her everything the next day.
