Ch3. Explanations and Kindness

Once you had gotten home, you were greeted by you best friend Yuze. He doesn't look too happy with you "Oh... dear..." you said realising your in a lot of trouble "Y/n... where were you. I came to your house and you weren't there. I went to your parents and you weren't there. I look everywhere in town... and you weren't there..!" He say quiet loudly before pausing to collect himself "So where were you Y/n?" It came across cold and stern, Yuze was upset with you and you don't blame him, you couldn't believe you had to tell Yuze this early. "You're.... you are going to want to sit down for this..."

"Ok, so... let me get this straight. Yesterday after we said our fairwells to eachother, you agreed to be Nezha's successor because of your powers?" Yuze asked trying to get your explanation straight. "Yes.. I do not know what happened but it felt like.. Something told me to accept his offer." You told Yuze, you are unsure on how or why you agreed to it. You just felt like you had to. Like it was destiny.

"Well... Do you at the very least have a schedule with your... training..?" Yuze asked "yeah.. I have to be at this location every week at 9 am sharp.." You said, Yuze started laughing quietly "I can not imagine you doing that." He said before he relaxed his face, "anyway I must be going good day, Y/n." He said as he left your house, leaving you all alone.

Once he was out the door you sighed, as you sat down "Of course.... He doesn't understand... he does not have what I have..." You said before exhaling and standing up to find your journal. You don't use it for journalism but for drawing. It was a hobby of yours, something you did for various different reasons or in your spare time mostly.

It had been 30 minutes since you sat down and started to draw, subconsciously drawing Nezha remembering the details of him, not exactly but the main details of him you can peice the rest together.

You've been at this for a few hours unable to think of anything else to draw so you decided to close your book over and go to bed to sleep.

It's pointless, you've been waiting on your dear friend for at least an hour but no sight of him. You were considering to walk home before you saw a little girl, a child you knew well. Yuze younger sister Ming Yue "Ming! What are you doing out at this time all alone?" You asked in surprise going down one knee to meet the small child's height. She looked upset "I-I... I lost my mummy... i-in the market. Can you help me find hr Y/n.." Ming Yue said in tears in her eyes scared. You couldn't handle seeing such a usually happy and bubbly girl like that, she trusts you more than anyone because of your friendship with her brother, Yuze.

"Yes of course Ming Yue.." You said in a soft voice while slowly picking her up to not frighten the young child more with any sudden movements, She clung on to you as you said "Come on. Let's find your mother." Your voice was calm, you walked not to fast through the market with Ming Yue in your arms. You felt her sleeping when she had calmed down. You knew what her mother looked like, you have been at Yuze home enough to know that.

It took 20 minutes to hear Ming Yue's mother shouting on her and asking the locals if they had seen her. Once you spotted the child's mother you shouted her last name and first name to gain her attention "Zhu Ling!" She heard you and turned around, she seen you with Ming Yue the gasp of relief she let out as she particle ran up to you made it worth it.

"Thank you L/n! Oh thank you so much!" Ling said as she took her child out of your arms and into her own "You are far too kind." She stated in joy of having her child and glad she was with someone she knows won't do anything. After you said your farewells to Zhu Ling you went home knowing as the sun was beginning to set.

The day wasn't all bad for you. Even though you were ditched by Yuze, it was fine as you went into bed and fell asleep.

However unbeknownst to you, your act of kindness did not go unnoticed with a certain celestial prince.
