Ch 1. How It Started

This is a fanfic about the "Mentor! Nezha x Student! Reader" three parter I did on my oneshot book.

"Mr. Tang!" Mk called out to his older friend (and subsequent friend of his boss Pigsy) as Tang ate his noodles, Mk was running through the door with beaming excitement as you quickly followed behind him. "We recently found out that The Third Lotus Prince Nezha mentored a mortal!" You excitedly said to him as you began to stood beside Mk "Do you know anything about it?" Mk asked him. The two seemed extremely excited to have found this out.

Tang chuckled at their silliness, "Why yes, Nezha did once mentor a mortal like you and me." Tang said ass he smile at the two "However I don't have the book with me. If you come back, but tomorrow I can read it to you." Tang then said to them as he continued to eat his noodles as Mk and Y/n jumped of joy.

The next day, after Mk had finished his shift, they pulled out two chairs and sat down in front of Tang, with big bright smiles still on their faces from the day before, "Ok Mk and Y/n... Here's the story of "The Celestial Lotus Blossom". " Tang said before he opened the book, and began to read.

You and your best friend Yuze were walking in the market picking up fruit and other stuff for you're dinner.

"So... you are saying that your powers may have something to do with The Third Lotus Prince." Yuze said, he always knew you had powers but he never knew why. He was the only one you could trust with them, scared of what could happen if people found out about them. You nodded and said "Indeed. I do not know why though... what is so important about me? Does he know? Or is it something he has to find out? I am so confused by this."

As you picked up the things you needed you went home with Yuze. "I will see you tomorrow Y/n?" He asked with a slight smile on his face "Yes my friend. See you tomorrow." You answered before closing the door. As you turned around you had a slight heart attack at who you saw.

The Third Lotus Prince Nezha, had finally found you. He had been looking for you for almost twenty years now.
Now he had found you with Yuze in the food market. Safe to say he followed you home. As you were saying your goodbyes to your dear friend he slipped in and stood in your living room. He panicked slightly when he had seen your reaction but quickly regained his composure.

After you had calmed down Nezha had decided to speak "Hello mortal, I am The Third Lotus Prince, Nezha and I do apologies for my sudden visit however I do believe you have something.. special about you." He simply said with a straight face "Special?" I chuckle at that "With all do respect I do not have anything special abou-" you were interrupted by the deity "It is no use to try and lie to me Mortal, I know of your powers. I have been looking for you for so long." You seemed stunned by this "Looking for me..?" You asked out of confusion "Yes. I have been looking for you. To take you under my wing and be my successor." Nezha stated proudly before gaining his composure again

After a few minutes of silence thanks to Nezha letting you take all of what he just said in you replied "ok, so let me say this again so I can fully understand it. You have been... looking for me for a while and want to take me under your wing to become your successor?" He simply nodded in response "but.. I don't know anything of my powers... I mean I can contain them and not let them fester... however I do not know how to use them.." You say uncertain he made the right choice, Nezha could sense your doubt and walked over to you "Look, I am aware your parents never had powers... It must have taken a lot to hide it from them, but I can assure you I have not made a mistake. If my powers chose you, then I will make sure they are used right. To make sure that you flourish, that you bloom." His words of comfort worked on not making you doubt his decision "what I mean by 'taking you under my wing' is that I will personally train you. Making you learn how to use the power inside you. However you do have a choice in this, I will not force you into something you don't wan to-" "I accept." You interrupted him, he looked in shock as he had not expected your accept so quickly "What..?" He simply asked in confusion "You said it yourself, you would take me under your wing and become your successor. So I accept." I informed him, he simply chucked lightly to himself before saying "Alright Mortal-" "Y/n." You cut in again "I- Pardon?" He asked "My name is Y/n... so you don't need to keep on calling me mortal you know.." you said before letting him continue, "Aright then Y/n your training starts at dawn, tomorrow." He stated before leaving, leaving you to think of what just happened.

"Oh... my... heavenly spirt... this has to be a dream.. right" You said before doing everything that would wake you up but nothing had worked proving that this is reality. You went to bed thinking 'I am the successor of the The Third Lotus Prince and he's basicly my mentor now..' you said as you finally wrapped your head about the situation.

The next morning you woke up at the lovely time of 7 am to this..

"Wake up Lotus Blossom." Nezha said in a.. somewhat calm voice, as you shot up looking at the time before looking back at him "it is seven in the morning." You said in annoyance with your voice grouchy from just waking up. Nezha said nothing for a minute before he spoke again...

"... Thats the point Lotus Blossom..."
