Ch. 10 The Heavenly Lotus Blossom

It's been a two weeks since you and Nezha spoke and let everything out, you were still recovering from the fire incident still but... Nezha was helping you through most of it, currently he's trying to warm you up to go outside to get food from the market "Lotus... They do not hate I promise you that.." Nezha says on a soft yet encouraging voice "But..." "Lotus Blossom. From what I have heard from Zhu Yuze, you have done quite a bit for the people of this town in the short time you have lived here. Like I said I promise you that they do not hate you. The demon's here are wary of you but they will still treat you with respect." Nezha told you for possibly The millionth time.
"Okay... New plan." Nezha said tiredly before picking you up "Wait wha- WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" You yelled with major confusion, "Relax... I am taking you somewhere so you can calm yourself, and... hopefully heal your mind.."

You don't know how long you were being carried by Nezha but it must have been a few hours now.

"Uhh.. Nezha, forgive me for asking but.. WHERE ARE WE?!" You yelled in confusion, Nezha being calm as ever exhaled "We are in a place that will help you control your powers without hurting anyone or worse..." His explanation made sense to you, the last thing you want is to hurt or... Kill someone.. Weather it be a stranger or someone close to you "Granted.. This is a sudden move in your development.. but I can work with it.. We can work on your powers little by little and restore your confidence again." He said giving a small smile, which you returned with your own.

It has been a few days now and you've made very small progress with your power. Nezha took it upon himself to grab your necessary possessions (like clothes, armour, spear, etc) and inform Yuse when he got the chance to catch him alone but even so.. You are trying, meditating in the meadow outside the small cabin Nezha had brought you to. "Remain calm. Take in the things around you and feel the calm energy flowing withing you." Nezha said trying to coarse you through it... again. You began to grow impatient with it until eventually you stopped, sighing in frustration "What is the matter Lotus..?" Nezha asked while half meditating. At first you didn't answer but soon caved "I just... Why must I do.... This again.." The frustration was clear in your voice you looked at Nezha who gave you a knowing look as he cocked an eyebrow up "Oh..." Is all you said as you remember what happened you looked down as regret filled you.

"How about we do something else..." You hear Nezha "Like what..?" YOu ask looking back up at him "Hmm... Well.." He stood up and walked over to you and sat back down next to you "Look around yourself Lotus Blossom... Tell me... what do you see." Nezha told you "Umm... Well I see flowers and... The sky.. And the sunset." You told him Nezha nodded "And what are the colours... What colours do you see in the flowers and the sky and the setting sun.." Nezha then asked "Well... The flowers are a mix between the colours blue, yellow, pink and white and the sky and sunset... I see the colours blue, pink orange, gold and red.." You replied "Good. Well done Lotus!" You smiled slightly at Nezha's praise as he ruffles your hair "Lotus Blossom?" Nezha started "Yes Nezha?" You replied looking up at him "Do you know the purpose on why I asked you to do that little task..?" Nezha asked you thought for a minute before shaking your head, Nezha simply chuckled a little "Believe it or not... It is another way of relaxing the mind. Paying attention to the things around you and focusing on the obvious things such as the colour of the what you see in it focusing on that." Nezha said as he stood up "Think on that for tomorrow alright?" You nodded as Nezha made his way back to the celestial realm as you stayed outside feeling the wind blow lightly. You felt at ease, like you weren't suffocating in like you once where a few days ago. Before you were healing quicker than you once where back then. Once the sun had set completely you stood up and went into the cabin to rest for the night.

As the days went on you became more stable to show and feel stronger emotions without anything unfortunate happening. However, on this particular day, The Lotus Prince had something else in mind. "Uhh, Nezha.. Where are you taking me..?" You asked "There's a place I found while coming this morning Lotus." Nezha said he was leading somewhere "It is relatively close to where you're staying at for days to come." He continued as he kept walking, you rolled your eyes "And how is this going to.. Help?" You asked him, he simply laughed quietly "This isn't any training, I mainly just want you to become more familiar with the area around you other than the area you stay at." He explained before you two finally arrived. The first thing you saw was a waterfall in which the water would fall into a lagoon the water in the lagoon was clear as glass. 

"How do you find these places Nezha?" You ask him as he led you in there "That is my little secret Lotus Blossom." Nezha said while smirking a little "Besides, you need to recover over your little.. incident...." you look down, facing the bright green grass underneath your feet before Nezha continues speaking "but I promise... it will all work out in the end!" Nezha reassured you, as he put a hand on your shoulder he kept his stoic expression but seems certain by his words.

The two continued to make eye contact for another few seconds before Nezha sighed taking his hand off your shoulder "I may have come to a realisation on my way here Lotus Blossom..." Nezha mentioned before crossing his arms over his chest "I think it's not just the village to stay in that you worry about disappointing or hating you over losing control of your power ONE time... but perhaps it is more so me as well..." He said with slight sadness in his voice, a few minutes go by and you haven't responded "I will not force you to speak of it if that is the case... But, it can be fixed, you relationship with your village can be fixed, your garden- even though it might never be the same... Can be fixed. You don't need to forget the memories you had before, but you need to move on and create new, happier ones. You may be in a dark, undesirable place at the current moment but... it will get better... You  will heal and move past it. In all honesty.. Putting the past behind you is more healthier for your mind than clinging onto it." Nezha's voice was soft, comforting, like how a father would speak to his crying child. You looked onto the lagoon before sighing
"If I knew you would do this I would have put on lighter clothes." You chuckled a little before a small and soft smile graced your features, even if it was for a second, Nezha would still feel proud of himself that he was able to get you to smile after not being able to feel normal again before giving his own small quiet laugh "Go have fun Lotus, you deserve a proper break. I'll go get us some food." He said to her before flying off in a random direction.

Now all the you had to do was wait for him, you sat down on the grass listening to the sound of the water crashing into the clear lagoon from the waterfall, as you felt the warmth of the sun on your face, before your lean back letting go of the arms that supported you to not fall back, allowing yourself to fall on the grass.
You opened your eyes for a second, "Hey... Now that I think of it... everyone in heaven- at least Nezha.. They seem to have a secondary name that we call them by... if I'm destined to succeed Nezha then shouldn't I have one myself?" You thought for a minute "I could do "The Royal Lotus..." or I could just stick with Lotus Blossom... or..... I could use... "The Heavenly Lotus Blossom.."  " You muttered as you thought.

"The Heavenky Lotus Blossom.." You repeated tried out how it sound before smiling and closing your eyes again. "Yeah... that has a nice ring to it..." You then said before exhaling contently. Despite not being a creature from heaven... You stuck with it.. However, how you would go about with that was something you would find out in the future.

After 2 whole months of me not doing anything with this boom because I had exams to do, I have finally finished said exams and I'm ready to continue it. Wo!

Also I the original title for this chapter was going to be "Space from home" but I wanted to change that.
