Chapter 14 Wedding Bells

The day has finally come, all the trials and tribulation I've had to deal with for the past few weeks has led me to this moment. This marks the end of my fake relationship with Jaehyun and the beginning of our real one. I can feel myself start to smile as I think about it, I wonder what other adventures await us down the road. this has all been surreal I came into this thinking I'd go back to my normal life as if nothing happened, yet here I am dating my rich boss its like I'm in a hallmark movie. I chuckle to myself and bring myself back to earth, I walk out of the washroom and back to the bridal party Stacy is currently surrounded by her brides maids specifically the ones who don't like me. Unwilling to deal with them I go over to the ones who do like me and help them get Sky ready in her flower girl dress.  We have an hour until we need to be at the venue and Sky has just now finished her hair, I grab her dress off of a chair and bring it over to them.

"A fairy princess needs her gown."

" Look Sky your fairy in waiting has your dress. I love the little flowers on it."

"Mom let me choose which colour I wanted, she had this dress made just for me. its one of a kind."

" You deserve a special dress for this special day. Come I'll help you into the dress while the others grab your accessories."

I zip her into her dress and help her into her stockings and shoes. We put on her necklace and flower crown and bring her to see her mom.

"Presenting her majesty princess Sky!"

"Oh my god, baby you look adorable, come her we need to take a picture." 

"Stacy the limo is here we need to get going, we can take pictures later."

We pack up and make our way to the Limo, I walk with Sky at the front while the others trail behind. She's almost more excited about the wedding than her mother, I wouldn't mind spending the evening with her.

We get to the venue and take our places, I see Jaehyun and the other grooms men already at  their spots in the front. We watch as the last guests filter into the venue and wait for the wedding to start. 

The music starts and Sky walks out, dropping flower petals everywhere she can. She joins me at the front holding my hand as she watches her mom walk down the isle. I saw her getting ready earlier but watching her walk down the isle was like seeing the final finished product, all those hours of getting ready really paid off. 

They get through their vows without any interruptions, I honestly was kind of expecting someone to object just to add some more drama to this whole thing. They kiss and the guests give them a standing ovation, I've only seen weddings on TV so It was nice actually being apart of one. I haven't known Stacy and her husband for very long but watching them finally seal the deal made me kind of emotional. 

We make our way to the reception and take out seats, me and Jaehyun get a seat beside each other at the main table. It's usually saved for the family of the bride and Groom but I was added because Stacy said I was basically part of the family already. Of course that caused some discourse between the brides maid group but Stacy made it clear she didn't care.

We eat our estrays while family and friends give their speeches about the bride and groom, Having not known these two for very long it felt nice actually hearing stories about them. It almost feels like I was experiencing the stories with them, I smile along with the other guests and enjoy the stories. 

After the meal its time to hit the dance floor. Stacy has her first dance and slowly the other guests make their way onto the dance floor to join them. Jaehyun offers me his hand and we make our way to the dance floor.

We find a nice spot off to the side of the crowd and start to slowly dance to the music. His hand on my waist and and mine around his neck, we sway side to side and take in each others company. After a few minutes I start to drown out our surroundings until its just me and him dancing in the room.

"This is nice."

"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself."

"I'm glad I said yes to all of this. It's been super hectic and stressful at times but It brought us closer so I can't be mad."

"And to think after today I can truly call you mine."

"If you told me we'd be dating for real once this was all over, I would have thought you were pulling my leg. I always admired you but I kept that feeling strictly professional, I didn't want to be like the other girls at the office."

"I'm glad you're not like them, I noticed you more because of that. Sure you were beautiful and smart, but the fact that you treated me like a regular human being is what really made me start to like you. I've been crushing on you since."

"I had a feeling you'd need at least one girl in the office to treat you like you weren't just a slab of meat with a big wallet."

we chuckled to ourselves, this moment just feels so magical. I wish I could stay like this forever, I look up at Jaehyun and know he's feeling the same way. We lock eyes and I feel our faces getting closer together, we kiss surrounded by dancing couples. 

I know this day will be one we wont forget, it's because of today that we even got the courage to finally make our way to one another. I'm not one to believe in destiny but I feel something magical was at play how else could I have fallen so head over heels for my Boss.
