Chapter 7: Truths and Lies.

"Nina shh! You're going to wake Luna up!" I hear the familiar voice of Annie and I shoot up. Both girls scream and duck under the covers as I take in my surroundings cautiously and I groan.

I can't believe I passed out when I was finally getting answers.

"Sorry guys, I forgot where I was for a second." They come out from under the covers slowly. Nina holds her hand over, I'm assuming, beating heart.

"You gave me a heart attack, Luna." Nina cries dramatically and I scoff. Haven't I been in this situation before?

I go through my morning routine until I'm walking down the stairs, two little girls following in tow.

"So, what do you guys want for breakfast?" I question and they tap their chins in thought.

"Lucky Charms!"

"Fruity Pebbles!" They both yell and they turn to each other in shock.

"You'd pick Lucky Charms over Fruity Pebbles?!" Nina gasps and Annie looks at Nina horrified.

"Why I never! How dare you pick Fruity Pebbles over Lucky Charms!" Annie says and I laugh while hushing the two.

"We've got to be quiet, there's people sleeping. You guys can have whichever ones you want. How about you guys grab the cereal and I'll grab the bowls and milk?" I offer and they nod and go after their cereal.

Kids. Then again, I used to fight over food with my sister Brittany all the time. Speaking of, I need to call her.

"What's up hot stuff?" I turn around expecting to see someone my age but I'm shocked when I see a boy that looks around fifteen.

Oh my god, he's a child! Well not a child, but I'm pretty sure he's younger than me!

He just winks and I stand there horrified at the fact that this kid is hitting on me.

"Um, cereal?" I ask doubtfully. Was I supposed to make a grand meal?

"Sounds good." He says and winks once more than fixes his hair.

"Hey, Tyler! That's Alpha's Luna!" Annie scolds and Tyler looks back at me with raised brows.

"Well, my cousin scored a hot mate." He says with a frown and I bite my lip trying to keep in my laughter but I miserably fail.

I burst into laughter after I place the milk and bowls on the table and then begin sobering up.

Uhh, this guy is hilarious. His cousin, Grey-.

"Cousin?!" I shriek and Annie jumps in her seat with wide eyes but continues to pour her milk and cereal.

"Yeah, cousin." Tyler says suspiciously and I find myself growing suspicious.

Did he send his cousin to spy on me so I won't try escaping?

"Well, I can assure you that Greyson doesn't want me as his mate." I say and help Nina put the milk in the fridge when Tyler opens his mouth.

"Damn right he doesn't, why would he when he has me?"

I turn around to look at Tyler when I realize it was Crystal who said it.

"Hey!" Nina says angrily and Crystal glares at her.

"Shut the fuck up you little shit." Crystal says and Nina looks down at her cereal with a sad expression.
