Chapter 21

Suddenly, a boisterous laugh came from Naruto and the blonde puffed out his chest. "It's just further proof that I'm the one to fulfill the prophecy. You should just give up now, Kyuu."

Kyuubi narrowed his eyes in a glare and growled. "I should have never bothered to help your selfish ass in the first place. Go fuck yourself, Naruto." Before either Kakashi or Naruto could respond, he stormed away and headed for Itach"Yep" Kakashi nodded his head as the two stared at him in disbelief. "It sounds exactly like the beginnings of pregnancy."

Naruto wrinkled his nose in confusion. "Sasuke and I have only been sleeping together for only two weeks though."

"Well, demon pregnancies happen a lot faster than human pregnancies, not by much, a few weeks or so. It varies depending on the demon."

Naruto continued to be in shock, staying silent and staring at nothing. Kyuubi looked to his little brother and a wave of jealousy washed over him. A slight sneer appeared on his face.

Kakashi took notice of the look Kyuubi gave to Naruto but kept silent. "I'll get in touch with a doctor I know who will work with us given the situation, no questions asked. Tomorrow, we'll go down there to get some blood work done to confirm. He should be able to have the results by the end of the week."

Kyuubi looked to Kakashi. "How come I'm not pregnant?" It was hard for him to hide the desperation in his voice. "Itachi and I have been together longer."

Kakashi shrugged. "I don't know all the details on demon pregnancies but if it's anything like a human's, the process can be unpredictable. Some people try for months and it doesn't happen."

Kyuubi frowned, not liking Kakashi's answer.

Kyuubi slammed the door open to see Itachi now fully dressed. He stepped inside and slammed the door.

"How'd it go?" Itachi asked.

Kyuubi felt his anger rise further and he directed his heated gaze to Itachi. "Fuck off! This is all your fault, trying to tell me to go help him, I should never have bothered!" He stomped his way to the bed before throwing himself onto it, face first.

Itachi looked on in concern, before sitting down on the bed next to the redhead. "What's wrong?"

Kyuubi lifted his head, still glaring at Itachi before letting out a frustrated sigh and shifting so he was lying on his side, facing the raven. "Naruto has been acting emotional lately and Kakashi thinks he's pregnant. Tomorrow they're going to do blood tests to confirm." He sneered. "Then Naruto had the fucking audacity to brag about being the one the prophecy talks about and that I should give up." He looked at Itachi. "Maybe he's right."

Itachi was silent before lightly shaking his head. "That's just straight up nonsense."

Kyuubi gave him a confused look as the raven began to smirk.

He leaned over Kyuubi before going in for a kiss. He pulled away, his smirk larger. "It just means we have to try harder."

Sasuke was still seated in the parlor room head in his hands. He was still trying to process everything that just happened. He let out a sigh.

Iruka walked over to the young Uchiha. "Hey," he spoke softly to get Sasuke's attention. The raven looked up at him. "Naruto gave me the rundown about what happened. Have any ideas about what to do now?"

Sasuke let out a groan as he sat back in the couch. "Well, Ino and Hinata won't be much of a problem, they ran away scared. Sakura on the other hand, she's trying to blackmail me by threatening to tell, unless I marry her."
