School is about to start...

Izuku's POV:

Guess time really flies by because the small time I knew me and Toko were excused from school because we were in that incident where there were just a small amount of people who survived it and the survivors were hurt really badly.

I wonder how Toko is doing...

Guess ama see him soon again.

At least this time, I don't have to lie cause Hawks really is a good person.

He us just inexperienced that's all....

PLUS I learned to fly a bit.

It's been a while that I was with Hawks and after that day he insisted on teaching me how to fly, he started to teach me to use my wings and made me train a bit with him. Of course I knew he was doing this all because of me and for my well being plus he was going easy on me. Still thanks to that I was now able to levitate for a bit over the ground. Flying high was still hard for me since I wasn't used to this at all.

Hawks: Izu, come here! We have to get some school supplies.

Me: Can't we just order them?

Hawks: We could but... you know that I want to spend some time with you.

Me: And a reason to get away from the hero commission.

Hawks: Noo! I am hurt you think like that. You are my precious little feathers. Ama do anything to help you out and prepare you for life!

Me: I know...

Hawks: On that note... did you already decide?

Me: Yeah...

Not gonna lie it wasn't hard decision.

I just didn't know how to start the conversation to tell you my decision.

For some reason after he told me that the choice is mine, he left me alone and never mentioned it ever again. I got that he wanted to give me time and everything but talking about this topic wasn't easy for me so I was waiting for this moment. My answer was a definitive YES.

Did I had to think about it after what he did for me?

He changed the pool water to be normal water so I could get inside and not only that but he was spending soo much time with me. We had a movie night, then daily morning trainings or evening trainings so he could teach me to fly. In short he was doing everything he could and was spending every free time he had with me. If that wasn't dedication and love then I didn't know what was. How was I supposed to reject a home with a guy which would put this much effort to actually make up the mistake he did?

Not gonna say no.

For sure.

Me: I would love to stay.

Hawks: Are you sure?

Me: Yes.

Hawks: Then that settles it! I will officially hand in the adoption papers.

Me: Thank you for giving me the chance.

Hawks: You deserve one and I was an asshole at the beginning.

Me: No, just busy and I was not better.

Hawks: Let's just say we were both stupid.

Me: I am fine with that.

Hawks: That leads us to the next question. I did get your files but I refused to read over them since they are private you know and I want to respect your privacy,... What school you going?

Me: Aldera Junior High.

Hawks: Hold old are you even...

Me: How much do I look like.

Hawks: 13?

Me: 14 but close.

Hawks: Oh so you have one year before you need decide what to do after it.

Me: Yeah...

Hawks: How Is school?

Me: Like every other one.

Hawks: Alright, Izu tell me if you wanna change schools.

Me: Will do.

Let's face it, Hawks was really a nice hero and a great father. If I would tell him things about the school like what me and Toko would do or what we went through then that would mean he would maybe even make me transfer and I didn't wanted to be in a different school then Toko.

At least I was seeing that birdhead and his shadow demon quirk. He was one great friend a nice brother which was not blood related anyways.

I really can't wait to see you again!

I have to tell you about the skies and how nice it is to actually fly...

Never did I thought I would enjoy it...

Toko sooo much changed in such a short while...

This is really for the better!

Hawks: You look happy.

Me: I am!

Me: I will see Toko again.

Hawks: The raven looking kid?

Me: Mh! We are like brothers!
